Don’t travel with this company. Our holiday was booked for June 2020, then covid happened. The company offered to defer the holiday to a later date for a $250 fee, and now that date is coming up the company will not respond to our attempts to contact them. We even tried to contact them via their Facebook page, and they deleted the comments within 5 minutes of posting. Not to be trusted with your money
The best experience trip with AVG , definitely book again for my family next vocation! The tour program awesome, the meals & accommodation is amazing! It's really value of money!
Holiday booked pre covid through AVG, nothing was actually booked by the company, but our money was taken. Calls go unanswered, emails ignored, a credit offered, despite nothing actually being booked, rather than a refund, and now, due to mobility issues, I cannot go on the trip, and yet they refuse to offer a refund or anything other than a credit for the same trip,which I physically cannot do. Class action sounds good, doesn't it?
Dishonest company. My husband and I should be in Vietnam now, after 2 postponements due to Covid. We have lost around $6000 and unable to contact them by phone, email or even going to their office in Melbourne. Their website needs to be taken down if they are unable to correspond with customers. My friend even rang earlier this year to enquire about booking a tour, but received no return call. I feel that they may have gone down the drain like I suspected they might at the start of covid. I was unable to get a refund then, only told I had to rebook.
Communication is shocking and unable to get in contact with them now in regards to our "credit" we supposedly have due to our tour being cancelled 3 weeks before leaving due to COVID. Our travel insurance is happy to reimburse if AVG provided evidence they won't be honouring the "credit" however due to them not answering emails or the phone, nor returning our phone calls. Nothing can be done.
Hard to get hold of and don’t respond to emails very quick if at all. Seems We have the same problem as a lot of other people re covid, taken money with promises of credit etc now they don’t want to know you.
Did 1 trip with this company and it was great! Very happy with the services that they provided.
Love the tour! I have recently returned from Vietnam and Cambodia on an Asia Vacation Tour. I was very happy with the service, guides were very informative and were always there on time to pick us up. Also the drivers were great, helping with the luggage and having water on the bus for us. I would recommend Asia Vacation tours to anyone thinking of a company to use for their trip.
Our 10 Day Highlights of Vietnam Tour was perfectly organised. Excellent accommodation and transfers. Tour guides: Hugh in Hanoi, Huan in Hoi An and Jay Jay in Saigon were exceptional, helpful, informative and always on time to pick us up. During the whole trip there were absolutely no problems whatsoever. Special thanks to Anne, Asia Vacation Group’s Reservation Executive for booking and providing all the information before our trip. She worked tirelessly making sure, we are well prepared for the trip. Thanks to AVG we had an outstanding and affordable holiday. Very impressed with the company. Thank you. Maria and Peter.
