A great stop for us even pets. Animal can run on the river while human can make a cup of coffee to take a break before continuing the journey . River as off today not rough so you can cross as the water level not high.good place for fishing as well.

Stayed one night,will definitely be coming back to stay longer, shower was hot. Toilets were clean.and the walks were beautiful. Prices are great and affordable, and payments online was easy. Place was clean.. was a safe...so please,if you stay there,do your part to keep it clean. Happy travels.
Well maintained, ablution facilities amazing , hot water and kitchen area great feature as well as the BBQ option in the park. Lots for kiddies, dogs. Safe clean camp ground. Electrical hook up easy . Nice dump area. Great walks around camp
A great little park, with lots of trees, gardens and wide open spaces. It has a very extensive playground with a big variety of equipment. It includes stuff for both the little ones and the more adventurous. The Ashhurst Domain is a great place for a break to either stretch the legs or as an excursion from Palmerston North. It also has a good picnic area as well as clean and tidy toilets. It is worth stopping here.
