Saved the day! I was at another local place that sells gf fish and chips earlier, very overpriced and disappointing. I came here to Ascot and purchased gf fish, gf chips, and a gf pineapple fritter for around $12 nz dollars. They brought it out to my car wrapped in lots deli paper which was practical to avoid a mess while eating. Large portions too. How cool, Thanks guys!
Very fast. Loved the crumbed fish but thought the chips could be better. Lovely customer service. Parking: Road parking in front. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free fish options.

Really good fish and chips, burgers especially, so good Ascot has reopened, once again Friday night takeaways just a few minutes walk away!
Great fish and chips. Gluten free options are awesome, their GF batter is crispy and delightful. We were regular customers at the last place the owners had, and now that they've opened a different place we drive all the way out the other side of town just to get our fish and chips from Ascot Street Takeaways.
The BEST in town. These guys make sure a coeliac is completely catered to and safe, with yummy foods, accommodation for other allergies - nothing is too much for them. They absolutely rock and are the sweetest people.
Over priced local corner store burgers. Charging gourmet prices but using supermarket Buns and regular lettuce. Tried it on recommendation of rave reviews but will continue making own better burgers at home. Nice and clean but definitely not worthy of charging gourmet prices.
Thank you Ascot takeaways for an excellent meal. You guys have only recently taken ownership but we wanted to let you know how much my husband and I have really enjoyed our takeaways from your store. The chips are crisp and golden, absolutely perfectly cooked. The fish battered and crumbled are delectable. My husband, especially enjoys the sausages. Keep up the excellent service. Great local fish & chips. The fish is cooked in a really nice batter. The chips are the best that I have ever had. They are just perfect!
