My good friend's son attended the inpatient program at Arrow Health last year for three months. he had been to other rehabs off and on over a number of years without any success with his alcohol addiction. He found Arrow Health offered a caring and nurturing environment with an excellent inpatient program. Since leaving the inpatient program he has regularly attended the outpatient program. The staff at Arrow Health have been so supportive to him over his journey and he is now regained employment and is nine month's alcohol free. Every day is a step forward and i just wanted to write this review to show my appreciation of what Arrow Health have done for my dear friend and her son.

The work Arrow does is life changing. Sometimes its hard but if you listen to what they say and try and follow they can take you where you want to go. 2 years clean and still going strong!

During my stay a fellow customer/ resident was tolerated as he mantained a period of harrasment and verbal threats both against staff and other residents culminating in said resident physically pulling a knife on another resident. Though promises were made that this person could not return due to safety concerns, he was happily readmitted weeks later. When this issue was raised with staff, the fellow residents were blamed for not bringing the issue to attention of management, though the issues were raised many time with multiple staff. Though Arrow seems more than happy to re admit customers that are physically violent, I was denied support after a relapse during a weekend leave. Being told by two seperate staff that I had "failed rehab" and "I'd love to say I'm surprised but I'm not". Overall very unsafe environment to go about your recovery. Complete lack of support for mental health issues, extremely limited medical access, with a nurse promised to be on hand 3 days a week, though during my they were on leave and completely unavailable for over a month. Much of the staff very unprofessional and unqualified, though there was a handful of veryworkers (mostly night staff) who went above and beyond, it was generally negative.

Arrow health is a shoddy poorly managed money making rehab business. Poorly trained and resourced , sloppy procedures , misleading advertising , no mental health support . At over $10000 a month with a punitive no refund policy . A dangerous place to detox . Arrow claims to be 12 step relying heavily on free AA or NA meetings as the basis for thier after care . While having no real understanding of the process of 12 step , which is open to all who desire change . Instead Artow twists the intention of the first step and operates a punitive power control group therapy model that is both disrespectful to thier Clients and damaging to real recovery .

I've been a client of Arrow Health for 10 months and can say they have changed my life. I have learned the tools to move forward in life and have a real shot at living a clean productive life. I'd like to say a big thank you to all the wonderful staff at Arrow and the owners for making my recovery possible. I cant recommend Arrow Health enough. From the residential Rehab at woodend to the Transitional house the care i been given is just amazing. Thank you to all the staff..
