Arintji

Excellent food, wine and service. We were probably a difficult group to accommodate, with everybody arriving at different times, and yet Arintji took it in their stride. Nothing was too much trouble. All of the staff were friendly and eager to please. Will certainly recommend this restaurant to all of our friends. A lovely, cosy atmosphere, right next to the river.

Great location, particularly if you are looking for a central place to meet friends. Has convenient parking located close and it's across the road from Flinders Street Station. Has a good range of steaks. Service is a bit hit and miss. Being located in Federation Square itself, it is also a good spot for some people watching. Had indoor and outdoor seating, under huge umbrellas and equipped with outdoor heaters.

Waited over an hour for simplistic meals whilst receiving terrible and rude service especially by the counter server who told us that if we wanted our food to go into the kitchen and help. When the food finally arrived it was of sub-par quality. To my disgust I also found recycled chips with old tomato sauce coating them in my serving of fries. All in all, was a awful experience, will never go back again and would advise others to avoid.

We went here for lunch today and spent over $250 and then decided to go back for coffee at dinner time and we were told that the machine was broken and hadn’t been working since lunch time. Little did you know that when the waitress went back inside to let your manager know that’s all we were looking at my uncle was inside and heard your manager instruct the waitress to tell us the machines broken and to get us to leave if that’s all we are going to buy. Guess what you rude manager we were going to have coffee first and then buy dinner but we left. We are never going back and will never recommend you. Feeling very disappointed, this used to be my go to when I was in the city but not anymore.

Went here with my sister today in the late afternoon. The staff were lovely and very accommodating even though there had been a slight misunderstanding with our order. The crab and ginger rolls were amazing!! I also caught a glimpse of the butchers board and will definitely be getting that next time :

Waited over one and a half hours to get our dinner last night Sat 10th Feb. Only to send it back as it was so dried out it was crunchy. Not the way to serve Paella. Must be the worst restaurant in town, everyone was complaining and sending food back. Terrible

Arintji in the heart of Fed Square is amazing. The food is excellent quality & great value. The halumi salad is to die for & the calamari even better. The staff are friendly & attentive. Can't wait to eat here again, fantastic food, friendly service & a lovely atmosphere- will definitely be back again.

A location that send me away because I only wanted to drink a coffee. The waitress said i only get coffee if i eat something. I really could have understand that if the location would be bursting with people, but it was only 30% full. The waitress said: "We have no capacity for only coffee now. There is to much going on here". So, 1 star for racism against German people. Can’t really understand that mindset... : 5 stars for the restaurant next door btw. They sold me coffee, made an amazing service and made 22 AUSD from me because i stayed there 1,5 hours.

The best steak I've had. Even though I requested it to be well done, which it was, it was so tender I couldn't find a fault with it. Being from NZ I eat a lot of steak. So cheers to the chef. Well done.... excuse the pun

Thanks to all the staff and Chefs at Arintji for fabulous food and even more fabulous services. You went above and beyond to make my family celebration of our Mother's 85th birthday a fantastic success. I recommend your restaurant to everyone.
