Positive, vibrant, friendly, empathetic, caring, thorough, brave, resilient. The staff here makes me want to work in aged care myself.
We recently had to move my father into an aged care facility after being hospitalised for a long time. We have known for years that this would be necessary, however it was confronting when the time actually arrived. I flew from Brisbane to Melbourne to assist my Mum in the process. We visited a number of facilities and were blown away by Arcare Knox. We were greeted in a friendly manner by a number of staff members and were treated with respect and friendliness by all staff we encountered. Gabriele met with us and took us through the paperwork and fees and made us feel comfortable with the whole process, reiterating that they realised it would be an adjustment for both my parents and they would do everything they could to make the transition as smooth as possible. The facilities were lovely and residents were out of bed, looking happy and well cared for.nSince Dad has been a resident, we have been nothing but happy with the care he has received, especially on the day he was transferred. All the staff have been polite, friendly, understanding of his needs and have done all they can to help him adjust. During an emotional time for us all, Arcare have certainly done everything they can to assist.
The people there don’t know what’s going on. Never ring you back and they don’t communicate with HR. I don’t even know how to run the place. I wouldn’t put anyone in there let alone a human.
My father was a resident for 2.5 years. We couldn't have asked for better care and attention, especially during those COVID years. Staff are excellent and very dedicated. Forever indebted to the staff at The Lodge.
First I want to say thank you to everyone in the Arcare Aged Care The Lodge Knox. Really warm hearted manager and staff! When they heard my phone is losing, they tried their best to make announcements and help me to find. I appreciate their patience and professionalism. A lot of thanks
