Have closed the branch on the Red light system, and a note on the window says now go to Albany. How about perhaps for your valued business members maybe a courtesy email to let us know, and they are so lazy they haven't even updated to say they are closed on this google page. For the local business hub they are certainly not helping a bad situation. Even a skeleton staff or opening reduced hours....ASB and the rest of the banks are open around Takapuna with Covid rules in place, they have their act together.
I made a brief visit earlier in the day to book an appoinment to open a business account with an off site consultant via skype. I came back an hour later and the tellar who was supposed to make my appoinment had gone on a break, no appoinment made...however the business manager came down from upstairs and saw me herself, which was nice. Got it all sorted in less than expected time. Very friendly and helpful.

not very happy with the service when i requested for 3 months statement of accounts one day as I am applying for visa and they only gave me the current month 2pages and advised to print the rest of the pages myself otherwise they will charge $4 per page. -_- I've got no printer at home but had no choice but to go back with my own printed copies and get them stamp it.
Clearly no consideration or care for their customers. Closing the branch under Red settings. What a farce. Other banks are remaining operational I’m curious why ANZ Takapuna close theirs doors.
I went in to anz today. Not knowing what the outcome was gonna be. I was in very awkward situation but the lady there named chandra god bless her heart helped me deal with it. With her help and kindness she got me back to where i needed to be. All i can say is she is a great person and great benefit to your company. Thank you so much chandra god bless.
So I am going to take the high road and not point out a specific banker's name but if you happen to be American opening an account here on any visa, please please please make sure the banker put in the right tax residency information for you. I opened an account with my Canadian partner and the banker we worked with 1 messed up my last name 2 labeled me as MRS even though we had a 10 min convo about how we are not married. I mentioned issues 1 and 2 over a direct email to the banker and she only fixed 1 before i had to remind her to also fix 2... And then turns out there was 3 where she did not input the correct tax residency info for me, which led to our account being frozen. I had to be on the phone with the call center for 30 min to fix it. I happen to work across the street but I just couldn't be bothered to go in. Phone banker confirmed she did basically everything wrong. The other thing was she offered us the low low end account that didn't come with a free visa debit card there was one that comes with one as long as you have continuous deposits over X amount monthly. We had another 10 min convo about how one of us will be working full time... To me, that's the textbook definition of "I give very little effs, gotta get to lunch". Sloppy work, inattentive listening, bad follow through. So there, hope you don't end up with the same experience. Sorry if i sound aggro but after my account got frozen i just couldn't hold back about my feedback.
I opened my bank account in 2015 while being on a working holiday visa. The whole procedure was without any problems, and on top, my banker Tony Krstev was incredibly friendly and funny :
Good quick helpful service. Parking can be a bit tricky but just means a little walk
