Story

Andys Place Cafe is located on a busy strip of shops in the Essendon area. The presence of freshly ground coffee, a wide range of delicious and affordable food choices and the welcoming and friendly care of the staff make this cafe a popular one in the area. Since it’s opening in 2011, Andys Place has built an excellent reputation in regards to customer service as well as having the highest coffee turnover in the Essendon area.

2014 is a big year for this cafe as we are introducing two brand new chefs with a delicious new menu. These chefs have cooked for countless famous people such as john travolta and now they want to cook for you!

Can always count on this place for a coffee on the way to work. These guys get the worm first with crazy early openings at 4:30 am every morning, including weekends. A night out on the town could end at Andy’s place for a 4:30 breakfast ; the coffee is always amazing and consistent. The staff are always vibrant and friendly. Will have breakfast here soon and review their food, which I’m sure will be great like the coffee and service.
The good points are that the Barista is attentive, the coffee is strong and the old building is nice. The staff is young and need 'hospitality' training. I don't mind repeating my order. What is not so pleasant is when they try to grab the plate when an elderly lady has not finished eating and the manners no response to the please and thank you. Eggs and coffee for two costed us almost $60. Fair to expect to feel welcome no?
Fantastic visit again at Andy's Place Cafe. The food quantity is great and the staff are so friendly. If you're nearby, it's well worth the visit for breakfast or lunch. Be aware of the one hour parking though. It caught us out.

We went to Andy’s Place Cafe for breakfast and ordered 2 mediterranean baked eggs and 2 coffees. The mediterranean baked egg couldn’t be more disappointing. Just a bowl of baked beans out of the can with a hard boiled egg on top. It was like ordering a baked egg dish and getting a bowl of beans soup. Tasted so bad that we left them almost untouched. Also, we complained about the taste while the staff had no interest in addressing the issue. Asked us to pay in full, about $60 for the food we did not eat. Not recommended at all and will never go back again!
Fresh juices is the best thing they have. I’ve seen the best variety of fresh juices with them in the town. We had chilli eggs and lime squash avo- they accommodated our other special requests with a smile! Lovely warm staff… good place to have breakfast!
Popped in for a quick lunch. Had the Mediterranean focaccia. This was very tasty, filled with pesto, baby spinach, eggplant, zucchini, capsicum, a little pumpkin and feta cheese. Service was quick and friendly.
Ordered the brioche French toast via uber eats. Came without any of the advertised toppings mascarpone/strawberries/nuts, was just cold, flavourless French toast with a side of maple syrup. I didnt expect it to be aesthetic given it was the take away/delivery version and could even forgive the coldness as a by-product of transport, though we're only 10 minutes away and the order was collected promptly by the uber drive, but it wasnt even an attempt to resemble the advertised meal. Very disappointed given the good reviews and photos on the French toast on their social media.
great find breakfast burger was delicious and the service so friendly and welcoming
Waited more than an hour for food and it never came - people who came well after us got there food ate and left and we were still waiting. Took 20 minutes to even approach to ask us what we wanted to drink. Do not recommend to anyone.
