About

We are open for brunch, lunch and dinner 7 days. We're a great place to meet friends for a drink and/or snack.

Story

You will find the atmosphere warm and friendly with a unique character, real service and excellent food all at a sensible price.

All main meals are priced and designed as complete meals without the necessity for additional extras. Where possible, only the freshest of locally caught fish and locally harvested produce are served.

We think that we are the best steak and seafood restaurant in Nelson, however you will find that our menu has something for everyone - including vegetarian meals and gluten or lactose free options.

I really enjoyed the service and quality of this place. The food was basic but well cooked and yummy. The staff were friendly and helpful, they offered things and were quite nice. I loved the beautiful view of the yacht marina, also the decoration of the restaurant was cool, because the decorations were fish themed! Overall, This was a lovely place, and I enjoyed it alot. Thanks!

Terrible service. Started with a long wait at the bar for our booked table....then had to ask for pretty much everything from menus to water, the kids ice creams.. No-one came to ask if we wanted coffee/deserts - staff seemed to be focussing on clearing tables. Food average. Was a celebration birthday lunch. :( Very disappointing. Plenty of better places in Nelson to eat.

Great spot on the Nelson Marina. Inside or outside dining. Love to share half a dozen scallops with my wife at 4zys over a beer or Chardonnay. I also take exception to Adrien Marsaux's review. That's why it's wise to read how many reviews they have done and whether they are reasonable people.

Potentially served by the owner tonight. Great display of hospitality with a tequila on the house. Good Czech beer on tap too.

Friendly staff, got a park right out front of restaurant. Choice of sitting outside but we chose not to as the sea birds can be annoying. Food was very average. Chips were a little soggy salad was limp. But overall it was a lovely atmosphere and outlook. I recommend having a window seat.
