Nestled in Windsor, Melbourne, amok restaurant is the vision from chef Woody Chet where he is bringing experience from Coda and Tonka to share his modern Cambodian inspired dinner menu.

Weaving in delicate yet punchy flavours influenced by his mother's traditional Khmer cooking, his modern take on classic dishes is coupled with his high energy and enthusiasm.

Food was surprisingly good and the prices very reasonable. I haven't had Cambodian food before. Amon's food was somewhat like contemporary Vietnamese/Thai. Flavours were fresh, different and delicious. The staff were friendly and paid us just the right amount of attention for my liking.

Food is good. Portion is not for sharing. Atmosphere is interesting. Desert is definitely something different.

My partner and I had a lovely dinner for our anniversary. The staffs were really friendly and everyone on the hall seemed to be looking after all of the tables as much as they could. We needed some help on ordering food since it was the first visit, and they were very helpful. The oysters were so amazing and all the dishes we got were very tasty. The parking was a bit difficult, but the services and food were fantastic!

Not super authentic, but really good tasty food. Visited with a group, some of whom aren't great with chilli, this food was perfect- lots of flavour, but nothing too challenging.

Amazing quality food, the flavours are so well combined and the service was friendly. A little pricey but you pay for the quality, was still hungry though after quite a few plates!
