Good insurance etc. company, can be slow with some long wait times but don't seem to be able to make appointments, probably can do things on line or over the phone but sometimes much easier face to face, plus then the representative has everything at their fingertips on the computer. We have been with AMI for over thirty years and have had to make a few claims and have always been treated well with friendly and efficient help and advise plus service. They cover a comprehensive range and are close by plus 24 hour phone contact when out of town or country. Quite happy to recommend AMI to anyone looking for insurances.

Customer processing time was longer. Few Customer was there to pay their bill, they left due to the waiting time. Also I wanted to insure my car. I called many time but I was unable to get through. Finally, I have to go there to get my car insured. It wasn't like that before. I was driving my car without insurance for 5 days.

AMI insurance is the worst insurance I have ever dealt with. Accident happened 2 months back and my car hasn't been fixed yet. Claim has been accepted but the case officer don't follow it up. I call all them wasting my 30 to 40 mins and they talk to you very nicely but the work is not done yet. Very disappointing. Worst service ever.

What's happened to AMI? I have been with them for around 30 years but they seem to be going backwards with regards to service. I had an accident yesterday and called AMI and waited a good 10 minutes on the phone and after waiting being told that their business team does not work on weekends. Now I'm on the phone again since 9:30am and it's now 10:36am and still waiting. I have used the phone selection of commercial insurance from the beginning but when a lady answered, she said she'll put me through the commercial team after waiting for more than 10 minutes.  A challenge to AMI Insurance, what are you going to do about this and how do you intend to fix this low level of service?  Are you compromising your service level to CODB Cost Of Doing Business? Isn't SERVICE at the core of your business?  I would love to see the excuse you will put here for having a customer wait for over an hour on the phone.  Please don't respond to this comment by giving me a ’templated’ answer as if I'm talking to a computer.  For other AMI customers out there, my advise is to never ring them but go to their nearest branch so that you wouldn't experience a very low service level on the phone.

I bought AMI car insurance policy at the end of May. At that moment, they were having a promotion stated that they would send me a Zip card valued 50 NZD if I buy their insurance. I do not receive the card until now August 5th. I contacted them in FaceBook last Monday and they promised they would follow this issue. However, I do not get the reaction yet. Disappointed and frustrated towards this company.

I lived this town over 15 years and this AMI branch serve many times quite well until 4 years ago.  Now most of time they serviced very unprofessional, even no idea general insurance term and condition they are selling.  Poor Asian service.
