Story

Our vision is to showcase the most popular foods of India: bold, colourful and flavour-intense. Our menu is short and simple with choice dishes taken from different parts of India. All our meals are cooked to order and we prepare our sauces and grind our spice daily. We use locally grown produce, herbs and spices wherever possible. We feel that great tasting food begins with the highest quality fresh ingredients.

At our premises we are giving our customers the convenience of both Take away and dine-in option. We are not licensed premises so the customers have the choice to bring their own bottle of wine or beer.

We encourage all our customers to come in, relax have fun and enjoy great Indian food cooked fresh to order every time which will make you come back again and again.

At Ambrosia we don't charge any surcharge on any Eftpos or Credit Card Transaction including American Express.

Friendly service, nice atmosphere and yummy dishes. My only concern was the authenticity of the dishes as they tasted more on the sweet side rather the spice side as we order more on the spice side. I'd recommend ordering really spice if you want more of that authentic Indian burn? I'm not even sure what's authentic anymore... I'd say they're a scratch of authentic. The portions are perfect and the cuts of meat are ok. Would definitely be the best in Gympie :)

My wife & I absolutely love the curry from this Restaurant. To top it off, the naan bread is to die for - honestly, we're hooked. Read the bad reviews on here and as expected, they're due to customer incompetence - blaming this restaurant because they didn't check the indigence, it's laughable really.

I would give an extra star to make it 6 if possible due to the responses Ambrosia provided to the bad reviews - was hilarious. Don't get me wrong also, incredibly friendly staff!

We ordered delivery. Food was not satisfied. Naan bread cooked on hot plate not in tandoor.

My fish vindaloo was way too salty and that's coming from someone who loves salt. Very hot was good... but would have enjoyed it so much more if I didn't taste the over powering salt. For a $20+ meal I was flat out finding the fish, it was all sauce and rice. No way am I a fussy eater, just feel ripped off paying for something I didn't enjoy.
