Great! Value for money. Hired a truck that was a little old, but worked great and did the job for a fraction of the price of other local companies. Service was good. Maybe a little dry, but they were effective and did exactly what they said they would do. I much prefer honesty to friendly empty promises! :

The lady when truck returned was rude, swearing and using unlady like language and very unfriendly. My husband filled truck totally full before returning, When we picked up truck it was only 3/4 full. The lady from the first day , who was lovely ,acknowledged this and stated that the guy who filled it the day before was new and didn't realize to pull nozzle out to fill to top. Upon return we were given a very small refund for this , So in other words we got ripped off by rude lady.

Brilliant service.  I rented a car for a week whilst visiting family in the Rockingham area. I reserved the vehicle several weeks before by email whilst still in the UK. Ambrose Cars gave me the confidence that everything would be okay, and it was. Very friendly and helpful staff who made it very easy.  I would thoroughly recommend their services and will certainly be using them again when I return to WA.

When we first went in to hire our car the lady and gentlemen who served us were fabulous! Upgraded us to a larger car for free and were just lovely.. We lost our contract and so rang up on the Tuesday asking what day and time the car needed returning, the lady said Thursday at 3.40pm she was lovely! When we returned the car, the manager was nothing short of rude and a money grabber! They tried to say we were a day late even though someone had informed us we were due back on Thursday.. They accepted no error in their part..Our family always use their services but they and our friends were disgusted at how appalling they had treated us.. I've read some more reviews on this place.. And that lady's customer service is shocking!! As we left we heard them mumble 'They want everything for free'. Shocking!!!!!!!!!

Rented from here multiple times and I always have the best experience from friendly staff to reliable cars. Would recommend, 10/10 on efficiency, cost and service :

I always hire from Ambrose, they are good people with clean and well maintained vehicles and their rates are acceptable.  The company is now owned by different people and managed by different people than are mentioned in the comments below.  All previous negative comments should be ignored as no longer accurate.  In December 2016 I found the service brilliant, before that point I have also hired vehicles, but I have always returned on time, always fueled the vehicle, always respected the vehicle, I have never given Ambrose or any hire company the need to speak to me any manner other than appreciative of my custom.
