Good shop and great helpful staff. Great selection of furniture at reasonable prices as well. I had a bad experience only with one item i bought and that was because of a manufacturing defect. They eventually replaced it, but the whole process took some time and a few visits to the store. Yet, I've brought a lot of items from there before and after, so they certainly deserve a 4 to 5 star rating.
We bought so many items here with barely any help at all, whilst constantly having to ask for it. They delivered the items later than we asked and also one item broke after using it twice. I know it's cheap furniture but when you spend over $3000 you expect some good service. Not once did we get an apology and now we have to fill out a form all for a product replacement. Really disappointed and will never go back!
I can honestly say that I have never had better service than what I have received at Super Amart Mentone. The staff were courteous, helpful, and when I encountered a problem not of their making they could not have been nicer or more obliging. Hats off to you all! Really impressed.
I had only had great experiences at Super Amart Mentone. I purchased a sofa set almost a year ago which had a defect on one chair. The friendly staff at Super Amart asked me to complete a standard warranty form and send some pictures over, after which they offered me a refund or exchange for an in-store swap. I ended up spending a bit more on an upgrade, which was purchased and delivered together with the collection of the previous set free of charge as one would expect. The only suggestion I have would be to have a higher stock level as there were quite a number of sets that had incomplete stock or quite a waiting period. The delivery people were friendly and even assisted with the removal of the bulky sofas from the boxing and placing the furniture. A truely 5 star experience.
Worst shopping experience Iven had in a long time. I was dealing with a good sales person but there was this other sales guy there who decided to give me ultimatum "if I wanted to see the chair with legs on I would have to buy it otherwise they weren’t going to bother." He was extremely rude Even the girl behind the counter couldn't manage a smile. It was as it I was putting them out by buying something. No wonder this place is empty and every one goes to fantastic furniture.
it seems to be on a store by store basis these reviews are written, i can only say i have had experience with the mentone store. and was just a defect on a 6 month old bed, i didn't have proof of purchase. Store found it after it was bought in a friends name and we had the product fixed in about 30 mins. fair easy no fights no worries.
Was told I would get a glass TV stand that I ordered and paid a deposit on within 3-5days. It has taken over 4 weeks. Some of the staff are wonderful and embrassed by such a poor delivery system, yet other staff are not experienced in dealing with unhappy customers and so it's easier for them to offer refunds so they don't have to deal with the ongoing issue. The item was in a Melbourne warehouse all along - not coming from China, yet it still took them over a month to get it to the Mentone store. You can't even go pick the items up at the main central warehouse due to a completely dysfunctional delivery system. Warning, on any stock that requires to be ordered in - you can wait for over a month. So far my worst ever experience on ordering a furniture item that was located locally in a warehouse.
Great service until after paying for the product. Delivery delayed by over 1 month, constantly being lied to. The only way to get them to care about your needs is to threaten to call up management. My advice, if you are going to buy something from them, pick it up on the day to avoid any hassle.
I had such a great experience with Super Amart Mentone. Bill gave me excellent customer service and assisted me with everything i needed. Thanks Bill and thank you Super Amart Mentone :-
Brought a king size bed from them. Good price. Even cheaper than the queen size one which i bought from IKEA.
