Brilliant service. They collected me from my hostel, and there was no problem in dropping the car off after hours. It was incredibly cheap, the car was a few years old but in really good condition, and John was really helpful in advising me where to go. My full bond was returned just a couple or so days later.

The worst experience in creating rentals I've ever had. 
When the moment of the refund came, they made it through into the WRONG credit card. When I asked to void the operation they said it wasn't possible  (I work every day with efpos machine and positive that's something that can be made). 
Finally they decided to charge into the card that they did the refund (where it did came through yet) and make the refund into the right card. 
In the meantime time they say I was being disrespectful when the man was telling name how many millions of dollars he wins per year and how this 1000 dollars and this review wasn't going to change his business. 
I'm leaving today form the city so I can just hope that my bank do the right balance between the  refund band charge. 

Usually I try to support local businessess but in this case I  definitely recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy they car trip to find an other company which is serious in every aspect of their business.

We were on a cruise ship and called into Cairns, called All day car rentals to book a car.it was easy and efficient and very affordable.We turned up the car was clean and ready to go, they are second hand cars but excellent.When we returned the car they dropped us back to the cruise terminal.Very impressed!

I rented a Jeep Wrangler for 4 days from All Day Car Rentals. Good value, clean, powerful, just what I needed! The staff were friendly and very helpful with the choice of vehicle and advice on where to go during my short stay. I drove up to Port Douglas and the Atherton Tablelands and absolutely loved it!

The absolute worst car I ever had from a car rental. Guess it was the oldest car in Cairns, had about 120k km, ac was not working well, car interior was absolutely abraded and dirty. Max. speed about 100 km/h. They wanted 25 AUD to reduce the deductible from 3000 to 500 AUD, whereby the car was probably not worth 300 AUD anymore. Charge for one day was 75 AUD, I returned the car after 4 hrs. It has been to dangerous for me to drive with this car (Suzuki). Will never again rent a car here.
