I can’t fault absolutely anything with The North port. Impeccable food by Chef Jordan. Tasty, juicy, steaks with delicious sauces, the best potato cakes in the whole of melbourne and sides that are delicious and fun to share. The staff are lovely - always with the good recommendations and the location is easy to get to via bike, tram or car ! Head down here for lunch or dinner and prepare to call this your new local even if you live far away like I do!

Dinner 12/8/22 Lovely and cosy atmosphere, really great and dog friendly!? That’s amazing, was so cool wish I had of brought my dog, such a cool idea. The staff were incredible, I have never seen such a well maintained table service pub. Never had an empty glass, the staff were so attentive. The food was pretty good, the “potato cakes” were really heavy and oily but the fried squid with the chilli slices were amazing, I have been thinking of them since I left.

Was exactly what we were looking for in terms of fantastic pub grub. We came on a fairly busy weekday afternoon. It appeared they were short staffed, but this didn't mean their service suffered. In fact, it appears the attentive owner was actually serving and doing the waiting himself! He even acted as a semi-sommelier, recommending a really lovely Sangiovese to go with our steak. We were so happy to see a lively venue with great service in our stomping grounds! Bonus if the weather is warm, as they have set up a "Pub in the Park" right out front too.

The friendly service here is the standout. Food is right up there as well. Parma top notch. Good range of beers on tap.

Steak night Is a must Family atmosphere and friendly staff. Been around the port melbourne area for decades, this is a stand-out.

Enjoyed the negroni : can sit in the park outside and order for food and drinks.

Really really good food here. The steak was perfect with so much flavour. The linguine was Devine, even the kids cheese burger had effort and tasted sooo good compared to most pubs kids meals! The service aswell was great and friendly. Fantastic pub Will be back Instagram - @Our_Vanlife_Family

First time coming here, friendly staff, great table service, we'll organised. Food was amazing, I had the beef and vegie stew, the meat was so soft and succulent, full of flavour. The place has great ambience and character. Cu again soon and thx.

It was quiet the day we visited. Service was attentive and very friendly. The potato cakes were amazing. Really delicious.
