Excellent customer service. There was No queue during our visit. They offer orders on the table with barcodes and pay later at the counter. After making the order, the team members will serve the drink or sky juice. We ordered one ramen for sharing and the team member offered to provide us with two sharing bowls & cutlery. That was so nice of her before we even ask for it. The ramen was great too but nothing outstanding I can say. Great works and keep it up! We will be back definitely.
first time visiting ajisen ramen. was craving fried seafood and this fried octopus really hit the spot. One thing though, the prices advertised on the posters don’t match the prices when you actually want to buy the food, it’s significantly more expensive than what is shown in the posters and menu outside the restaurant so that was disappointing. this was the only dish that felt right at it’s price point to me.
Staff are friendly and caring. Odd that you have to order on your phone but cannot pay on the phone. Ramen was delicious and worth the price. Nice, comfortable and cosy restaurant
I don’t usually write a review, but I felt that this place was getting a bad rap that it definitely didn’t deserve. I ordered a bowl of Toroniku Ramen and it was great! Nothing like what the reviews were suggesting. The broth was rich and flavourful but still light, the noodles were perfectly chewy, the pork was fatty and crispy, the cabbage was cooked just right; not mushy at all. The picture was taken after I took a few bites and decided to write a review; it looked way better before I dug in. The service was good too! The staff were friendly, and you ordered using the QR code. Food came out within 5 minutes. Regarding the cups: it’s not mold. I don’t know why someone would think it was. The cups are fine; it doesn’t look clear because that’s the way the cup is. Definitely try a bowl if you come by. The restaurant is beautiful and has a modern, Japanese style to it. They also have bentos, desserts and tea. I’ll definitely come by again.
This place is great.atmosphere is chill and cool .they know what they are doing and food is pretty good .The ambience is very welcoming and charming. We enjoyed every single bite of meal.menu is extensive and seasonal to particular standards.this is my absolute favourite restaurant.I recommend to everyone I would like to come back here again.
Ajisen ramen provides different taste of ramen called ‘Kumamoto Ramen’. The soup mostly is milder and lighter comparing to Hakata style of Kyushu. Rich broth and delicious soup. They provide different type of ramen and even spicy one. Great place to enjoy ramen. Perfect food for winter and cold weather with spicy hot ramen The portion is also ok and large enough to make you full. However, the price is a bit overpriced for small amounts of meat in my opinion. Great japanese vibes and restaurant interior design. Overall 4/5 ~
Don’t Ordered kimchi in this restaurant, we ordered it and it tasted rotten and out of date. Does not look fresh. Report to the waiters, he gives really bad attitude and not give helpful response. The male waiter had really bad attitude, check his messages on watch during shift time, and do not use any manner. Will never come here again.
A decent Japanese place on the pricier side relative to the quality you get. Got the chicken katsu bento and it was overall quite solid but felt it was still lacking a bit considering the price. Expect to spend around $22 for a meal here.
If you're looking for a nice place for some ramen, then this is the place for you. They do Tokyo style ramen, as opposed to the usual hakata style, and I prefer Tokyo style anyway, so that's a win for me. On top of proper food, the service is flawless! From the wait staff, to the register bro, everyone's just so friendly and welcoming. Heck, the folks at David Jones can learn a lot from the staff at Nikki! So yes, the food's good and the staff's great. I would totally recommend this place!
Service and ramen were ok. I wish they use bamboo shoot instead of cabbage tho, it didn’t feel authentic and cabbage was a bit bitter too.
