Amazing teachers and a huge variety of yoga styles and levels. I love the way the classes flow so seamlessly. On many occasions, after a class I have asked teachers about a particular pose, and the teacher will enthusiastically launch into a mini workshop! That's not only value for money but glorious soul-food!
Agoy is a lovely welcoming space. The teachers encourage you to be self aware and mindful during your practice, to connect your body and mind. The regular practice has really helped me to block out unnecessary distraction and stay focused in all aspects of my life. I love the flexibility and convenience of 2 locations.
Ongoing back problem that was inhibiting not just Yoga practice but lots of things. Booked an individual session with Kate to develop a modified program. The session was perfect and we didn’t talk about a modified program that will come. Instead work on releasing and resetting the back was the unexpected priority and it was a great outcome. The exercises had immediate effect, consequently my motivation to continue was significant and I feel much less stressed about the injury. Am also confident the ultimate yoga program will be a better fit physically and psychologically. Thank you so much for taking such a thoughtful and unexpected approach.
I have been attending Agoy Yoga for over 10 years. They have a variety of different classes for differing needs. Kate and her Team of professional teachers always make you feel welcome and can always assist with modifications to poses if required. This is the best Yoga studio in Darwin!
I attended a two hour Roll and Renew class at Agoy to help kickstart all my good intentions for the new year! I’d never been to the studio before and loved the natural light and the hanging plants. It’s a well organised space and despite the room being really full I didn’t feel crowded and had space to move around easily. The class was great, Kate gave great instructions and information. Feels like a really lovely studio.
I attended a variety of classes here & was always impressed by the space, teachers & variety of classes available. It's also easily accessible with lots of parking nearby. Definitely worth attending this studio if you need to establish or maintain your yoga practice.
I attended a hatha/vinyasa class earlier this week while visiting Darwin and could not have enjoyed it more. The instructor, Kylie, was excellent and the poses and sequences were both appropriately challenging and fun. The studio space itself is beautiful and welcoming with a ton of natural light. Highly recommended!
As a new comer to the territory, having a regular studio to visit and practice yoga was vital. After my first class with Kate in palmerston I am thrilled to have 7 days unlimited access to try out all of the class styles that they offer. The Roll & Release and Iyengar Foundation level were a great combination for a Monday night to set the tone for the week!
I came to Agoy Yoga with a long term injury and I have not been trained in Yoga before. I was extremely satisfied with the session I had with Kate. I found her to be friendly, focused, well informed and she listened extremely well and was realistic about what I would be able to learn on the day which was supported by photos which she took and texted to my phone for my use at home The center was extremely well set up with the exercise program being supported by a range of innovative equipment. I feel empowered to apply what I have learnt in my own time, along with the offer of on-going support.
I have been attending Agoy yoga for a few years. All the instructors I have come across have been incredibly professional, helpful and friendly. I look forward to my classes and really enjoy them.
