Excellent apartment for our week in Coogee. Loved the walk down the hill to the beach, surrounded by lots of restaurants and cafes. Appreciated the heated pool and small gym. Most of the staff was very friendly. Our kitchen was well stocked, and the layout was very efficient. Great cleaning services daily. Furniture could use a deep clean, but our main gripe was the erratic and slow Wifi. But we thought it was a great value for the area.
Hi Ram,nnI’m glad you asked - we booked the Adina to attend the memorial of a relative who was killed at Bondi Junction and were hoping it’d be a stress free affair.nnUnfortunately when we were checking in it was apparently the person’s first day so took a very long time. They initially wanted to charge us a higher rate than the rate advertised on your website, argued with us when we pointed this out and ultimately changed one of the two guests more for a similar room that they’d booked in the manner that they’d initially suggested led to a cheaper rate.nnWe weren’t give any basic guidance on where the elevators were, or the gym or any of your amenities.nnOne of the elevators is poorly maintained, the doors jerk shut and it shifts suddenly - it threw an elderly family member of mine off balance and he nearly fell over.nnThe showers are poorly designed and small and there’s mould in the grooves. There’s quite a lot of paint chipping and damage around the place and the carpets in the hall smell.nnThere’s a hanging decoration in your front foyer that’s both so wide and low that anyone over six feet hits their head - I’ve seen multiple people nearly run into it.nnAnd your security is quite poor - the front door doesn’t appear to require a key and it often isn’t staffed. I’ve just walked straight in multiple times without needing my key.nnI’d normally in principle avoid giving a one star review unless an experience had been awful but you’ve made a truly horrible week worse and I regret staying here.nnNice location though!
Great location, friendly staff, good-sized rooms ensuite shower for midgets though. Lift button for level 2 was broken which was a PITA. Fantastic location, lots of cafes and restaurants literally out your door. Biggest negative is the building and windows appear to be constructed out of cardboard and plastic - it's the only way I can explain the total lack of sound deadening. Street sweepr at 3am or garbage truck at 6am? May as well be in your room.
Friendly efficient staff, having parking is a massive bonus in Coogee. The room was spacious, had kettle, toaster & microwave. Aircon worked well, bed was super comfy. Was only here for 1 night but would definitely stay again
You get what you pay for. Guy that checked us in was lovely. Not the best service at check out 17th April. Room was overlooked and I found someone looking in in the morning. Also we must have accidentally agreed to pay $10 online for wifi, but the lady at the front desk wasn’t interested in understanding that it was a mistake. Wouldn’t stay again
