Don't come here! We booked a unpowered site, we have our setups in ours cars. The website states: 1 car per site. But when we got here, they made us leave our cars outside, they suggested we park across the road public carpark at the beach. People on powers sites, 10 metres away from us, can leave their cars in, because they paid more?nnWe then asked why and all we get is a cranky face and a no.nnMinjerribah Camping should just do better.
What a great campsite for kids. If your kids loved Noosa Habitat then they will love the wilderness of this place too! We will be back!
Very poor service to leave two young kids potentially stranded on an island that is only accessible by ferry all because the camp ground did not communicate changes after a booking was made. Very lucky that the kids were able to secure a spot on the last ferry out for the day otherwise they would have had no to where to stay.
We have stayed at this camp grounds heap of time and always talkes about going back but Today my son and his girlfriend booked paid for everything got over there to be told they couldnt stay even though their web site and an email says 1 person had to be over 18 to stay all because of schoolies which QLD schoolies are over we have 2 very heart broken kids who just wanted to spend a few days together chilling on the beach amd they have no were to stay so a waste of money for the 2 who saved to go, we will not be back and go else were
We stayed at Adder Rock Campground on Stradbroke Island in our Hyundai iMax campervan just over 5m long and camped in the Frogger section. We had the back of the van facing straight towards the water—only about a 10m walk onto the sand. Perfect spot!nnIf you have a kayak or stand-up paddleboard, definitely bring it—on a calm day, the water here is really flat and ideal.nnThe staff were super friendly and do a great job keeping the place tidy with mowing and whipper snipping, making sure the view to the water stays open and clear.nnI’d definitely recommend this spot whether you’re in a tent, campervan, or RV with a powered setup. Can’t wait to come back!
