The lady answering calls was rude and didn't call back when she said she would. Then my booking went from 'within he next 24hrs' to '4 days time' - Despite the fact that, after a complaint, the date was put back one day, I would still hesitate to call them for anything after this. (I shall edit the 3 star rating up or down, once the job has been completed) - Update: Atrocious service. Their 'technician' turned up on time. He ended up having to drill the top off of two screws holding the gas burner to the stove top, because he didn't know how to do the job properly. Charged $154 for 40 minutes work and then left. Received a quote to replace the gas burner and faulty switch for $514.00. Accused me of "spilling a lot of water around the burner causing damage" - I'm a skilled metalworker, so I was able to fix the issue he'd caused with the screws. And, as it was clearly a manufacturers fault with the liquid dripping onto the switch, I got the manufacturer to fix the problem free of charge. - My advice? Know your rights as a consumer before calling these cowboys. Watch them closely if they do any work and time their visit.

Only reason I gave them a star was because of punctuality.. Two visits from the same technician for the same problem. Fault wasn't fixed and charged both times.. It was a bandaid solution.. Fault kept reoccurring. I called Westinghouse direct, diagnosed and fault was fixed within ten minutes.. Would not recommend Active appliance at all.

Great service on our Dishwashers broken door latch mechanism from Technician Andrew, one of those guys that give tradies a good name. Open and honest opinions. Will definitey be using Active Appliance repairs again.

Had a problem with the fridge, called around 11 and technician arrived before 2. Friendly and knowledgeable. He was happy to answer all questions too. Highly recommend.

Great experience, service and highly recommend. Our 22 year old washing machine had developed a serious leak. Called Appliance Repair in the morning and had technician (Andrew) on site that afternoon, Andrew called about 20 min before he arrived. Quickly assessed problem and approximate cost to repair, offered to take back to workshop to asses if there maybe other issues that may make the cost of repair not worth it. Rang next morning to let me know of other issues which meant it wasn't worth repairing. All this for the agreed cost discussed with me on the phone when I first rang. Highly recommend
