Purchased a Naturalite Sink Black from Bunnings around 18 months ago, and have a section that has discolored and paint/surface removed. I am a single bloke, hardly spend any time in the kitchen let alone the sink. Have a dishwasher also. Whilst they were prompt to deal with the issue as expected their response was 'we don't cover scratches, you must have had something leaning against it'. Leaning against it - like what a pole or a brick or something. They offered the same product for 50% of the cost. They should have just replaced it and saved themselves yet another poor review.
I contacted Abey Australia with a post-sale question regarding the Schock prep sink I had purchased. Yoni Philips, the Gallery Coordinator, was able to answer my queries. But then also followed up with me a week later via email to make sure everything had worked out. I was missing an item from the package which I was going to purchase, but it was all organised by Yoni to send me a new one. I was blown away with the exceptional customer service in both instances. Thanks for all your efforts.
We went to the showroom in Sth Melb few weeks ago and got an extremely friendly gentleman I think his name was Yonni. He had the patience to go through our requests and provide comprehensive details of the list of items we wanted to buy. Very professional service and a beautiful showroom.
The Abey showroom has beautiful bathroom products and brands displayed in an inspiring setting. Luxurious and spa like.
Went into Abey’s show room today & was greeted by a true professional …Yonni …whom gave us all the knowledge & experience that he had to offer . Couldn’t do enough for us , his customer service skills were second to none & although it’s a show room for trade professionals etc … Yonni went beyond to assist us with regards to products & ideas . A fantastic experience & a stunning show room to match . I would have no hesitations to recommend Abey’s products & showroom to any one . Thank you Yonni .
I agree completely with some of the other negative comments up here. I never normally give feedback like this so apologies for the amount of detail here but I am compelled to warn other consumers.The after sales service from this company is very poor. We bought two sinks and one tap from this company spending well over $1000. After a few months of use our black granite sink cracked and leaked into the cabinets below causing damage to the shelves and cabinetry. We raised a warranty issue and there were not issues at first,. They asked for photos which we sent in and they said this is a warranty issue. They sent a plumber to fix it. However the plumber said it was too risky to remove and might crack our bench top. So we contacted Abey to say we will get our bench top people to remove it and reinstall it and if they could cover the $385 cost to do this. The lady from Abey on the phone admitted that this particular granite sink was known to have a problem and crack and that they had made improvements to its design. Suddenly Abby called me and a man proceeded to berate me and said it was installed incorrectly and had been expoxied in to place. However, the plumber had confirmed it definitely was not expoxied in and we had silicone. I asked him to please check his facts again because I believe he was mistaken. He then said well it doesn't have the little clips. I pointed out it was a very tight space and thin porcelain. bench top and the clips didn't fit. He said no clips voids the warranty. I asked him if not having the clips caused the crack. He said ti would not. but that it immediately voids the warranty. However, he said no but then proceeded to say the crack was caused by something dropping in the sink and it was our fault. The most upsetting thing about this was his very aggressive tone and terrible attitude. His only goal was to weasel his way out of the warranty claim. He almost took joy in proclaiming, "we won't be covering the warranty and we won't be coming back out". Abby make nice looking sinks but their quality is rubbish and their after sales support is the worst I have ever had the misfortune of experiencing. Avoid this company at all costs. Caveat emptor.
We left feedback on their Instagram page which Abey DELETED. What professional company does that?? None. If they tell you your sink wasn’t installed correctly because the clips weren’t in, our stone masonry professionals advised the clips can only be installed if the bench top is woodnot stone of any kind as they need to drill holes, and holes can not be drilled into a stone bench top. Do yourself a favour DONT BUY ABEY PRODUCTS, you’ll be disappointed by their rude customer service and ZERO warranty after service.
Extremely happy with the customer service and will continue to buy your products because of this great experience. Our faucet head cracked and Abey has sent us one in the mail free of charge. Very impressed - thank you!
An absolutely miserable experience calling their Albert Park “showroom”. It’s actually not a showroom for the likes of you and I, it’s a showroom for trade only. All they did was tell me to go to one of their stockists. Thanks, I’ll buy Perrin and Rowe for my tapeware and sink.
Fantastic service at the Sth Melb store. Thankyou. We have had very personable service. Sales staff were professional, honest and knowledgeable of product. In any build there can be hiccups, counter staff were so accomodating in understanding and rectifying all of our issues. This has been old fashion service, a refreshing thing to experience these days, especially when going through the stresses of a build. Abey - Sth Melb. You rock! - thank you - again and again.
