Very disappointing experience.nI took my car in for repairs after an accident, but when I got it back, I was shocked to find that the A/C vent had been replaced with an old, broken part that doesn’t even work. This part was never on my car before and clearly wasn’t properly fixed – it was just added in without any explanation.nI contacted AA Insurance, and they apologized, saying they would order the correct part and replace it. But it’s been over three weeks, and I haven’t heard anything back. I’ve followed up multiple times, but still no response.nnThis whole experience left me very frustrated. I expected professional service, but instead I got poor communication and unacceptable work.nnAdvice to others: Always take photos of your car from all angles before handing it over for repairs!!
Perfect experience! The staff were friendly and helpful. The whole claim process was smooth and stress-free — you really don’t have to worry about a thing. Just leave it to their professional team. Special thanks to Jorgia, Doug and Tim for their outstanding service and support.
AA motor vehicle insurance: Amazing customer service, first time I've had to claim. Process was smooth all done online, dropped the car off. I thought I'd have to catch public transport or pay for an Uber, nope, I get a complimentary Uber home organised by AA. My car was repaired on the date they said it would be and I got a complimentary Uber to pick me up at home to get my car. I also love the fact that they do their own quality checks to insure repairs were done correctly and correct any faults before I pick it up. Staff were awesome, very friendly and helpful, I think they've earned my loyalty.
15+ Years of Loyalty – Treated Like a Fraud Over Missing MetadatannAfter over 15 years as a loyal AA Insurance customer, I’m shocked and deeply disappointed by how I’ve been treated.nnMy parked vehicle was damaged in Auckland CBD on 28 June 2025 while I was attending a health appointment. Despite submitting photos of the damage and clearly explaining the situation, my claim was denied because the metadata time/location info was missing — even after I explained the photos were taken on a spare phone without mobile data or Wi-Fi.nnI was treated with suspicion instead of support, spoken to as if I was trying to deceive them, and had both my vehicle and contents policies cancelled without request or refund. The most concerning part? Their team dismissed not only the visual evidence but my timeline, phone screenshots, and multiple supporting messages.nnI’ve now lodged a complaint with the IFSO. But this experience has left me uninsured, unable to replace critical business gear, and out of pocket — all due to a technicality.nnIf your evidence doesn’t come from the “right” device or have the “right” metadata, you may not be covered — even if your claim is genuine.nnAA Insurance needs to do better — for all Kiwis who expect fairness, not just flawless tech compliance.
Never ever recommend to this insurance at all ! Footage with camera not the evidence ! This is Barrie company ! No credit ! Every I want to rate 0 for it
