Had issues with my battery on the way to pick up in-laws from the airport. The staff here were awesome, even though they were really busy they fitted me in and replaced the battery quickly so I could be on my way. Much appreciated. :- If they are always like this I would highly recommend. Thanks
This place lacks basic customer service. When there is a queue for licensing, they allow for applicants to fill the form at the counter. Yet when you turn up just before closing time, they give you form and send you away. The attendant just stands there and watches people fill out the forms. Wouldn't it be better for you to make for efficiency, ask the applicants to fill the form on the side and serve somebody else? Staff really need basic customer service training skills.
Came to this branch for defensive driving school with John Waters, love that man and thoroughly enjoyed my learning experience with him! Thank you for your time and care to teach us to be competent, responsible drivers. Highly rate John and his teaching
1 hour 40 minutes to get a warrant. Ridiculous. When I requested my car back,got an apology and was told that staff were doing prayers. I fully respect that however perhaps you need to advise customers of your wait times as we would go somewhere else!
Went to AA this morning along with my wife to renew her license. This took from 11 am to 1.30 pm!!! Yes....Over two hours of waiting though they warned us that it would take long there were others as well. Clearly looks like there are staffing issues and obviously the leadership of AA does not know of it or does not care. Feel for the staff who are clearly over worked and understaffed.
Took car here for a 10-point safety check.. huge crowd waiting at the front for all sorts of services like license renewal, WOF, serving & repairs, etc... Was given a clipboard and told to put it in my car and drive car to the queue... waited probably 15mins in the car before they finally came over. Waited at least another 35-40mins while they did the 10-point safety check which consists of light check, engine oil check, wiper check, tyres and battery check.... then when they were finally done, one of them drove the car out towards the carpark area and did not know who the car belonged to.. a random off the street could have stolen my car so easily. Bad communication & poor customer service. Sloooooow. Staff were easily distracted. No where to sit while waiting. AA on Lunn Ave is way better than this.
New car registration , very very slow. Every 60 mins, the new staffs only can do 2 plates. At VTNZ, they can finish 10 plates with in 15 mins. Now, the Mt Roskill AA set a new policy, they only do 2 registrations for every customer , and ask customer to come back after 4pm.
Has to be the worst AA in NZ. Slowest service by a mile. Line is regularly out the door. Only 2 people in front of me in the line today and the wait was still over an hour.
Went here for a service on my ute. The staff were friendly and the price was alright. A special mention to the mechanic I think he was Indian, black jacket and pants, glasses and beanie who rang me after the service to explain things and then showed me in person what had been done. He also gave his honest opinion on what work needed to be done ASAP and what could wait until a little later and told me he'd be in touch with me about ordering a part for a repair.Services: Brake service & repair
License renewal: Turned away as the one staff member was too busy at 3.30 yesterday. Website says 8.00 open. Turned up to find the driver licensing hours begin at 8.30. Currently four people in the queue. AA need more licensing staff, better website information, ability to make appointments, or to lose the contract in my opinion.
