Amazing experience! Always lovely environment here, and the staff are so personable. Couldn't rate the dutch style pancakes highly enough both sweet and savoury. A very delicious brunch as we venture our way around the country!
Really disappointed as got there early for the apple tart advertised the day before, even had the sign outside saying coffee tastes good with apple tart and none there. Arrived at 9.40am and it did say get in early but how early is early on a Sunday. Had a breakfast too which came to $36 as had to buy extras to make it a reasonable size and even then the bacon was tiny and only one poached egg. Disappointed. Would say come here for a lunch/dinner and not cycle for breakfast or a cafe type stop as more reasonable places to go. Oh and 2% surcharge for payWave or credit which is ridiculous when you charge those kind of prices.
Overall a great 1st visit to Zenders. Service was friendly & food tasty. Eggs your way with bacon, Open Chicken Sandwich & Fish & Chips this was a full meal with 1 piece off fish - but it states you can also get a half serve ... so not sure how that works if only 1 piece off fish already. Also had a hot chocolate & coffee which were hot. Cabinet food also looked inviting & fresh. Impressed that cakes were a great price & look forward to trying them on a future visit. Ample parking & was great to see a nice clean venue! Parking: Large carpark & also has chargers for electric cars

Nice cafe with comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Place is well decorated and the outside gardens are beautifully kept. The inside dining room is full of natural light and has lots of windows offering lovely views of the grounds. Lots to choose from on the menu and a small cabinet selection. I enjoyed the mushroom medley and an iced latte, good espresso. If you’re looking for something new/different in Hamilton, I would say this is a great spot for any special occasion. I subtracted 1 star as I feel the prices are slightly higher than similar offerings in Hamilton. There is ample parking, clean toilets and they offer wifi.
Not really my style. We went for a brunch and a dinner but in both cases the food wasn't particularly good, it seems like it lacks a little spice. The service is fine but quick, there is no time for chatting before they take away your plate or the tray, people that work here are very nice though. The venue is good. Parking: Lots of parking space.
Decent location and easier to get to with new motorway however coffee, service and food are worse. Two coffees returned as they were Luke warm and gave up on the 3rd which was apparently extra hot...which seemed to mean it was slightly warmer than air temp. Food wasn't interesting I had a Dutch hotdog, sausage with a tonne of onion in a fairly dry bread roll and service while the girls seemed to try was confused. They didn't know who ordered what or where. I've been here before and coffee was good so maybe just a poor experience this time, but for me bad enough I probably won't go back.
Had the most lovely time at Zender’s today. I don’t often get to spend time with my parents, so being accommodated to with such tender care by Christina and the team made the experience so special. The service and food was incredible. Thank you so much team!
We enjoyed our meal, will be back to try their pancake breakfast
Dropped in by chance. Great coffee and cakes, lunch menu looked good. Interesting Dutch heritage. Warm welcome. Will visit again.
