Improving life through better physical readiness - Whether you are a top athlete, a busy working mum or anyone in between, we all need our bodies to be up
Movement Matters Most
DO THE RIGHT THING FOR YOUR BODY
AND IT WILL DO THE RIGHT THING FOR YOU
Improving life through better physical readiness - Whether you are a top athlete, a busy working mum or anyone in between, we all need our bodies to be up for the task.
At Athlete Nation we go to work every day as we want everyone to find the athlete within. You may have found this athlete already or you may think such a thing does not exist in you. Well, we believe there is an athlete in everyone. If you have a body with bones and muscles, believe us, there is an athlete there!
So why do we think it is so important that everyone should discover that athlete? Because being more athletic means our body is capable of doing what we want it to do, with no limitations. Whether this is being a top athlete, feeling confident while doing that physical job, swinging the kids around or simply remain injury free.
We know that through SMART training we can make a difference to people’s lives; from changing the life of the 11 year old child with limitless potential and doesn’t realise it, to the high performance athlete who needs to sort the last 10% to peak, and the grandmother who needs to find her self confidence again.
What is the science behind Athlete Nation?
The science of Athlete Nation is smart and serious without being complicated. Decades of research performed by biomechanists has helped us understand the causes of soft tissue injury and sports scientists have assisted us with understanding the theories that govern the best training methods for developing and enhancing physical performance. At Athlete Nation we've discovered the movements and practices within all that research that have the greatest benefit to helping you become more physically capable in a safe and efficient way.
Who did the research, what was involved?
Dr. Matt Kritz, Ph.D. has spent nearly two decades putting into practice his learnings from his master's degree study in sports medicine and his Ph.D. research in human movement and strength and conditioning.
