Story

Claudelands Arena is a multi-purpose indoor sports and entertainment centre located in Hamilton, New Zealand. Claudelands contains a 6000-capacity arena and four-star conference and exhibition centre. Construction began on the arena in 2007 and was completed in 2011 at a cost of $68.4 million ($NZD). The arena includes a unique C-shaped auditorium, the only one of its kind in New Zealand and Australia, which is fully retractable and capable of holding live music and entertainment, international sporting events, large banquets, conferences and exhibitions. The arena is one of the home venues for the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic netball team in the ANZ Championship. The New Zealand Breakers have played pre-season games at the venue in 2011 and 2012.Bob Dylan performed 2 nearly sold-out shows on 9 & 10 August 2014 during his Never Ending Tour 2014.

Tidy and clean. We attended the "Checkers got talent" and found it to be great! Lots of lighting. Great food. Nice people. Lots of fun.
Queuing to get in was a mess but the venue was really good and an awesome concert. So good to be able to have big name acts in Hamilton.
Great venue with fantastic facilities. Indoor elevators for those with wheelchairs. Loads of parking with disabilitie parking also. Have attended multiple events here in the past and am always impressed.
Loved it the facilities and drinks and food area were great!! Plus that's where I saw LAB
came here back in 2018 and loved it all, met heaps of famous Nz people and the whole crowd even got to go on the stage with them, did take a little bit to get into the building but other than that, definitely one of the best days of my life :

Great venue for Hamilton with good facilities including good, beverages and water stations. The bathrooms are kept clean by a constant watchful eye of ckeanjnv crew, which is great. The only negative are the seats. They're too hard and small, and anything over an hour is uncomfortable.
Went to the Lego exhibit. The lighting was terrible!!! We loved seeing the Lego which was AMAZING but moving in for a closer look created darkness and it was hard to see details. It's a shame
