Awesome family friendly fun in the Green Zone. Little ones had a ball and so did we. Handy easy access to toilets and food. The only thing stopping the 5 star rating was they ran out of water to purchase which was a bit tough on the kids and we weren’t allowed to bring it in with us. Looking forward to the next game!
Great stadium. We parked 2 streets away but easy as walk to get there. Easy to get into the grounds amd up into the stadium area for seats toilets and food/drinks. Seats were ok and good lighting. I loved my first visit to the home of the waikato chiefs. Will be back
Came to watch Maori All Blacks v Ireland. First time to the stadium, well laid out, easy access to food, toilets and seating. We parked near the old theatre and walked across, I could imagine parking could be a hassle if you left it too late!
Was excited to come for the Abs games, but sorely disappointed with the lack of info and wheelchair access. On the night of the game I had to be carried by the gate at the gate and my friend up to flights of stairs. At the end of the game. No help was on hand and we had to ask more than 3 people how I was suppose to get out of the stadium. The staff were I'll informed and had no idea. Needs to better planning. Not everyone can walk
Rugby was the winner last night. The stadium was good...could have done with a side cover to stop the rain from getting to us on the side but rugby was on our minds so it good. The food selection was so good. The toilet facilities was great, easy and plenty, so no long queues. All in all what an amazing night.
The ground and stadium very nice and sitting area very nice.
The venue was great, but some of the staff need to show some spirit. We got there way too early and as it was raining at the time, we stood in a nearly empty stadium under cover, about4 rows away from our seating. We were very rudly told to take our seats, in the rain. Agreed if the game was about to start....but having come a long way, dodging the Hamilton traffic and arriving soooo early, you would have thought that they might have had a different attitude. We come out to support our teams, so I think that 9 tickets that we paid for, a little compassion would have just been really nice. That same staff member having a great giggle with friends who came to watch the game, said nothing to them about smoking on the stands. On a positive note....the game was a good one and the atmosphere festive. Ques for food was crazy, so with the policies that they have regarding food... the establishment needs to ensure that folks don't have these long waits with children getting HANGRY.
Such a great stadium to watch the world’s greatest sport in. Really well run and organised, with good facilities such as bars, food and lavvies. A very pleasant and short walk here from the town, and a great return walk via a few fine bars and eateries.
Came for the 7s and really enjoyed myself sucks how this is the last one in nz ‍ would be awesome if they kept going. Definitely will be back for future rugby games.
Visited for the final HSBC 7s tournament and man, the atmosphere here was unbeatable. A tough opinion but I believe it was better than when the All Blacks play at Eden Park. Watching the entire stadium turn blue as Fiji takes the field was electrifying!!
