Coffee since yesterday

the best cheese scone I’ve had in NZ! with a little bit capsicum, toasted with some chopped parsley. So yum!!! You can even build your own big breakfast here with heaps of choice, I had poached eggs with honey roasted salmon & cheese scone! The hand cut fires my partner had were delicious as well. Friendly staff & excellent serviceHighly recommended!

Great atmosphere! The best thing about going to a cafe is sitting down in your own bubble and feeling comfortable, this cafe has nailed it. Cool vibe and friendly staff. My coffee tasted a little burnt, but our loaded wedges were great. Will definitely be back!

I have heard about many good reviews about them before. Today we had our breakfast and it was really good and tasty. Situated at Hamilton East close to the city they have indoor and outdoor seating.

Had an interesting experience at this cafe. Living up to their name, our coffees tasted like they in fact had been there since yesterday. The food is quite overpriced - we got the 5 side big breakfast in the photo for $28. Not really sure why they are called "sides" when the sides are all you get on the plate. We were given an incorrect side and then were charged extra for the correct one, which was then waived on explaining the order had been taken incorrectly. No apology and staff were quick to blame another staff member in training. Service was quite slow we saw a couple leaving as we entered as noone had come to take their order and staff seemed really unhappy to be there. Felt some tension between kitchen and wait staff too which radiated through to customers. We were only given 2 cutlery sets for 4 people, and then when asking for more were rudely responded to as if we had disturbed them. Definitely won't be heading back here any time soon !

We had a group of about thirty people and they sorted us out a table outside and looked after us really well! Really we had too many people but they were super accommodating and served us well! Good selection of tasty food and drinks!

We have had good experiences in the cafe before so we decided to come here again! But this time was not what we expected unfortunately. I got mussels and side of chips. Amount of mussels were pretty good24 to be exact I think it's reasonable. However the mussels were super salty!!! and simply couldn't finish them. Even the sauce was creamy I guess but just too much salt. And the side of chips was $4 but seems like it was like $2 chips amount. When we asked one of the staff, is the chips amount is normal and he was like and oh okay. I mean we were just asking one question. He could have done better reaction to it. I get it it was Sunday so busy day. I'm working at hospo too. Must have some stress and stuff but... disappointed. Just sad overall. We had good experiences before and this time wasn't at all.

ordered some food from this place on uber eats and when i tell you i was baffled at what i received , this acai bowl was $20. i would’ve expected it to be at least in a bowl? not in some cardboard takeaway box. the banana was rotten and the acai was just liquid. very disappointed, even more disappointed i cant get a refund on uber eats. don’t order from this place on uber eats, probably better in person but it shows what organisation they are if theyll just give you this excuse for an acai bowl because they can’t face you in person. Update: i noticed paper in the bowl, turns out theres some sort of paper that was in my bowl and its risen to the top. hoping uber eats will give me a refund

Surprisingly tasty. Hot drinks were great. Eggs over done on both our egg orders but otherwise would come back again.

Yikes, young lady at counter did not want to be there. The coffee was very burnt and sour. Fries tasted okay but I wish they were cooked a bit longer, they didn’t have any crunch and we’re very floppy. My wife had my side of salad and it didn’t have any dressing? Not sure if that was a mistake or done of purpose. I hope they do better as they have a nice look inside and out
