If I could give a zero I would!!! Went there as my mother needed the bathroom, she politely asked the staff member where is the bathroom and can she please use it, he gave her the rudest look ever and said no, leave! She then said she really needs the bathroom as she has bowel cancer the staff member just gave another look and walked off!! Seeing that the garage is against Cancer patients Me and everyone I know won’t support as helping a cancer patient is a problem and so is our money!! We will take our business somewhere else! You just lost a big client and with no clients there is no money, no money means no wages!! Get better staff asap because treating cancer patiens disrespectful is a shame on your name.
I pressed the $40 to get $40 every 10c day I go twice a day to get 20c so I feel like I'm a seasoned pro, not my first rodeo then went inside to go to toilet - it had charged me $60.... I told them as FYI you need to keep an eye on this - but they basically told me I had hit the $60 one and I was wrong and I gave them an education on how to really talk to a customer. I drove past a few times after this and I see they blocked off the lane with their bollards. So perhaps I was right......or maybe I was wrong like they said haha so I'd be wary and recheck your amount - the pump closest to the entry.

Very disappointed. Can’t use my sharetank at the pump. It always said something went wrong. So I just walked in and asked for help. But the staff on duty didn’t explain it clearly and quite unfriendly. I ended up paying with my credit card. Although I had tons of petrol in my sharetank. Trying to communicate with that staff but basically all he had done was just telling me it’s my fault. Then he stopped the conversation, walked away directly and ignored my questions. SO RUDE! I’ll send an email to Z’s headquarter to make a formal complaint on this staff. I felt regret that I put so much money into the sharetank.
If you are ever trying to come to a Z before they close, skip this one! I arrived 10mins before closing and the the bell end in the shop, shut the forecourt downflicked off the lights and pumps!nEven the security guard that seem to be checking the pumps at the time, remarked the tosser does this regularly at close early to cash up.nEven though you can pay at the pump, these seem to be disabled after hours.nIs fully recommended just skipping Taupo all together if 9nly needing fill as found a gull north of here that ended up way cheaper!
