Compared to other Gull Service Stations, their fuel prices are very pricey, especially being a self-service station.
First time using the pump.Kind gentleman showed me how to use the pay part.

Best petrol prices in Taupo at the time we filled our car. Small queue, so not a long wait. Self serve, which makes it quicker.
Really cheap gas. As a result it's busy. No shop, no staff on site, no toilets, no carwash, not even brushes and water to clean the windscreen. The payment system is a bit long, so first time users can be a bit confused by it. It's fine once you work out how it runs. The location is a bit out the way for travellers passing through because it is about half way between the lake front road and the bypass, but there is plenty of space around the store.
