I always look forward to visiting Yan’s during my trips, and it has become a cherished tradition for me. The Asian food at the cafeteria is simply outstanding! There’s such a great variety of shops that I can always find something special to take back home to Whanganui.nnFor me, Yan’s is not just a meal; it’s a part of my travel routine. I always make sure it’s the last stop before I head back home, as it wraps up my trip on a high note. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by Yan’s for a delicious meal and a fun shopping experience! You won’t regret it!
I like going to this place as it has most of the things I need to add to it. It comes with a restaurant as well.i really love their dim sum juicy and soft and noodle.plus they had a small section for the bakery as well.
The perfect place to get all your Asian related items, ranging from snacks, sauces, instant meals, frozen food, veges, etc. They even have a dining area where you can order your Asian favourites or do a takeaway. Their roast duck, bbq pork, roast pork and wat tan hor are on the must have list. There are toilets located at the rear where the carpark is. Parking out front can be a nightmare if it’s busy but lots of street parking available if you don’t mind a short stroll.
I don’t know where to start. Yans is my go-to takeaway place in Lower Hutt. I think I visit at least twice a week. The rice rolls are made fresh and are sooo good! I highly recommend the egg tarts, beef ho fun, shredded duck & pickled vege vermicelli and char kuey teow. The roast duck from here is phenomenal! So juicy and tender .nnWhile waiting for my takeaways I usually just wander around the supermarket side of the business. Service is friendly and efficient. I just really love this place .
Some asian grocery items are over $3 more expensive than other stores. The Nissin Ramen Noodles Tokyo Shoyu Multipack was $11++ compared to $8 in Woolworths. The black bean sauce was $8.19 compared to $4.99 in PaknSave.
