Go to shop for fresh veges, variety and affordability. And fresh fish whole, fillets, portions. Tried out a few variety of fillets lately on a less pricey tags, and to my surprise they were pretty good. Guess that's one way of discovering value for money.
C'mon pak n save Lower Hutt - the whole point of click and collect is ease of shopping. It doesn't work out that way when every time you go you have to ring a buzzer than no one answers, then you have to go into the shop and find someone to help you, then, when they eventually come out to help they can't open the locker door and have to get someone else ... and on it goes ... This has happened for the last three times I have gone for click and collect. Is this really the best you can do??
While I was at pak 'n save lower hutt today a supervisor with long hair and keys was yelling at a kid that also worked there and from what I heard it sounded like he was giving him a hard time about going to the bathroom. There was raised voices and everyone in the store stopped and turned. Staff of an establishment are supposed to be polite and Curtis to both customers and other staff members. I will not surport a store that hires bullies.
I go here because some products are definitely better priced than in other paknsaves. But the experience is very dependent on which staff you interact with. There is some very nice staff but there is also staff that lack some hygiene and/ or social skills. For example few weeks ago a lady constantly coughing and burping while scanning my groceries. And today while I was scanning at the selfscan, 2 minutes in, this lady suddenly came up to me and basically starting guiding me with putting my groceries on the checkout and “yes, next”, that I had to scan the next product. As if I don’t how to scan or as if I was going to slow or I don’t know. It was a very weird interaction. Maybe she was trying to be nice but it didn’t feel like that…
