Love the staff but lately I've been unable to get stuff from the deli after work because they always have a sign saying they will be back later. I understand they need breaks but come on, surely someone else can take over to cover the break?nPhoto taken at 6.33pm

I recently brought my elderly Dad to Woolworths Westgate to show him the original store before the newer Northwest Woolworths location was built. It was a bit of a nostalgic visit, and such a great experience.nnMy Dad, who travels between Aotearoa, New Zealand and Sāmoa due to family commitments and responsibilities, really notices the little details—and he was genuinely impressed. The store felt spacious, well-organised, and incredibly clean. The shelves were neat and tidy, which made everything easy to find and created a really pleasant shopping environment.nnA special mention and acknowledgement to the lovely lady at the checkout I didn’t catch her name, but she was Tongan. Her warm smile and friendly presence stood out straight away. We shared a light moment when I commented on her strength lifting a pack of water—such a small interaction, but it meant a lot. That genuine Pasifika warmth and mana really shines through.nnBig thank you to the whole team for the effort you put in. It doesn’t go unnoticed. Keep up the awesome work—we appreciate you all!

Worst countdown ever for customer service. I shop here frequently because i work in massey. Every time the checkout staff are rude, dismissive all with the same attitude. Watch you like your stealing. Or worse just watch you. Its so creepy. They just stand around doing literally nothing. When you ask floor staff where something is they act like its an inconvenience. On the contrary their female security guard is lovely and treats customers warmly as you arrive and leave.
