I recently had a disappointing and insulting experience at the checkout when purchasing wine. The staff member was excessively rude and dismissive when I tried to explain that my sister, visiting from the UK, didn't have any New Zealand identification. Despite our attempts to communicate, the staff member walked away, leaving us feeling disrespected and frustrated.nnThis experience was made even more difficult by the strict New Zealand alcohol policies, which can be challenging for international visitors to navigate.nnI hope that the store management will take steps to address this issue and ensure that their staff provide better customer service in the future.
Great store, they have clearly done a lot of work since the controversy, everything is spotlessly clean. The app feature that helps you locate exactly where any item is is also very handy!
Barely come into this supermarket was doing a regular shop and a lovely young man named amoss I believe sorry if I got wrong was just amazing some of the best customer service I’ve ever gotten
