I usually shop at Woolworths in store and consistently have a wonderful experience. However, I have ongoing issues when using Woolworths Papamoa for online shopping, including both click and collect and home delivery.nnOn multiple occasions, my online orders have included rotten fruit and vegetables. On one occasion, muffins delivered to me contained bugs. Another time, I ordered three bags of buns and all three had expiry dates for the same day they were delivered.nnToday’s delivery was scheduled between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm; however, the driver arrived at approximately 3:15 pm. On this occasion only, no attempt was made to knock or notify me, and all groceries were left outside unattended. Once again, the order included rotten apricots.nnThis is a paid service, and while I do not usually experience issues with the delivery drivers, the ongoing quality of products supplied through online orders is unacceptable. I expect better quality control, service standards, and accountability moving forward.nnI added some pictures. You can see all of the apricots are rotten, not just one. You can also clearly see it from the outside without opening the container.
Absolutely flabbergasted at the experience my best friend and I just experienced here. Was turned away at the check out from an unstable employee who kept asking if we’d had a good day repeatedly before I replied no, my mother had just passed away the day before. I’d just picked my friend up at the airport and we were buying beer to go home and drink to her. We both had tears in our eyes and were obviously sad- which she mistook for something else.. we tried explaining but she wouldn’t listen.. she didn’t care. Her assuming we’d had a “good day” and a “big day” was presumptuous and belittling and has put us off this place. Will not shop at a Woolworths again and would be more than happy to report her to make sure she doesn’t make more customers feel the way she made us feel today.
Allowing rotten garlic on sale is not ok. Plus it was $3.50 per bulb! Whereas Pak n save I bought 3 good bulbs for less than the price of one bulb in Woolworths. I did get refund but annoyed as needed them that day for a recipe. Overpriced and not quality checked. Wasn’t obvious until I opened bulb.
