A lovely and local 4 Square store. It may not have all of the selection the large supermarkets have but it has everything you need. Both staff and fellow customers are friendly. And a great coffee shop just over the road!
Great convenience store, plenty of variety, staff are friendly and helpful.nThis store has some great hot and cold ready to go food options and also a slushie machine, to cool off on those those hot days.
The Maori man that serves the counter is amazing and makes the experience of shopping for groceries so much fun. He’s so nice and friendly, wish more places had staff like him. Also it’s a big place with lots of things to choose from, prices aren’t too bad for a four square either
My daughters went to go buy some stuff for their sleepover and came back in tears, one of the staff members had supposedly criticise them of their choices of lollies, chips, etc… and told them it was too much for two girls. Then pulled out the receipt to show them how much they had brought and said “you shouldn’t be spending that much on lollies” very disappointed in this lady. And not the mention the prices, My girls came back with $0.70 cents and went with 40! And they only brought a few bags of lollies and chips
This 4 Square store is a bit larger and more well stocked with more variety and selection than most of their stores, including a great section of fresh fruits and vegetables, and a good selection of wines and beers.nWe were able to find almost everything we needed here at this store that we usually have to find in much larger grocery stores, so we will be returning to this store often.nPrices seemed to be about the same that we usually pay in the larger stores for most items.nI was happy to find that the store was very clean and well staffed with several checkouts including self checkout stations, also.nIt’s a great little community grocery store, so don’t feel like you have to drive further to find what you want or need while you are in the Papamoa Beach area.
