THE WORST SUPERMARKET IN NEW ZEALAND. Extremely messy ! Empty shelves everywhere ! Extremely unorganized ! Heaps of overpriced items ! Extremely poor customer service ! Some items aren't put back on the shelves for days even if you can see them available on the overhead shelves ! Prices at checkout do not match labelled prices in store you tell them, come back days later and same problem occurs on the same items ! Some extraordinarily rude staff straight-up telling you off because they want the trolley positioned a special way but they could ask politely instead few staff are lovely though ! I only go because I live next to it the management knows that but every time I need to go to Tauranga or Tauriko, I make sure to shop at these other Pak'n'save as they are managed properly. I can't wait for more competition to enter the NZ market to break this terrible duopole FoodStuffs + Woolworths that costs Kiwi families 100s of dollars every year over abusive pricing that should have been monitored and fought properly by the authorities long ago. It just takes a few travels overseas to see how bad the situation is.
Checkout staff are lovely........at this point however I am tempted to shop elsewhere. The fruit and vege department has gone downhill drastically recently.....bagged salads not even past their use by date brown and a lot of the fruit i.e. raspberries with several mouldy...perhaps storage from truck to shop not keeping these items cold enough...many shelves are still empty whereby other PaknSave stores in the area seem to be fairly well stocked. Can't keep blaming Covid
Once you’ve been to one Pak n Save, you’ve been to them all. Which is good because you know exactly what you’ll get. Clean n tidy, helpful staff. It’s a good place to do your grocery shopping.
Absolutely rubbish!! I bought 8 bottle of sprite and the guy at check out have charge me for 88.. and for this I have to wait almost 20-25 min.. and intresting no apologies from thier side... please be careful.....

This place is grossly understaffed, making the staff that are there stressed and irritable. I had to wait half a hour to collect my “click n collect”, only to be spoken to extremely rudely and told to call the customer service number to help me sort the issue. I phoned them, and no answer. I felt like I was inconveniencing the staff members that actually work there; to do their job. Don’t bothering using this stores click n collect service.
Good supermarket, has good range and selection, stock depth is good. Checkout team are good and helpful, floor grocery team not helpful and won't move a side to help you shop.
Like any other pak'n save, many selections of fresh fruits and vegetables, gummy, meat, cheese, dairy products, and so on. In the hallways, there are some booths offering you reduced items, check them out. Parking without limitation at night I guess.
Heaps of goodies. Great meat and dele selections. Easy to find your way around. No queues. Pleasant lady on checkout....
