Had a wonderful Mother's day lunch. I tried to book a table online today Morning - was not successful as it was fully booked for the day. We walked in at 2pm directly to the restaurant. MARAEA the best staff was very kind enough to offer us a table. We had a sumptuous lunch, good portion and fabulously cooked meal. Maraea also threw a free Mothers day Chocolate Brownie. Good service, clean and spacious resturant and great ambiance. Would recommend to my friends. The only remark I have was we didn't receive the special 20% off on Salmon dish which was promised at the time of taking order and was not automatically incorporated in the final bill, i didn't ask for it before billing, realised only after paying the full amount. Priscila the manager said she can't authorize credit the after the bill has been processed.
I had a Woodside burger nice home made patties but I want to see they put more fries on the plates look a bit less for the price. my friend had a fish and chip and was dry and oily. Sirloin steak nice big portion and tender but fries a bit less. the waiter need approach customer more and see how is going on. Restaurant clean and tidy good for big gathering. suggestion that reaper sauce waay too hot as I like spicy food could change into aeoli or tabasco. I give 4 star good job woodside.
Awesome service, great music, clean warm atmosphere. We came just for drinks this time but will be back for dinner soon! The staff are an asset to this place, very welcoming.
Spacious and comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. A wonderful place for nice food, drinks and social, or just a cuppa. Plenty of parking.
nice modern clean restaurant/bar. very friendly energetic staff but the food was such a let down especially for the PRICES they charge, the crispy duck was not crispy at all and very tough and the components were stone cold, it was still edible bit such a let down. also having to wait for cutlery to be given after being served etc.
Attended my work Xmas Function here in Dec 2021. I ordered the Chicken with ratatouille and orzo. Bit on the pricey side at over $30. Was deeply disappointed when came out; finely diced vegetables that had no seasoning at all, chicken was clearly microwaved from the way the steam was coming off it; tiny for a breast and dry. Chicken skin was dripping in old used oil and that was all you could taste. No amount of salt and pepper could save this dish. I had asked the staff member if it had mushrooms due to an allergy she said she would check but never came back to confirm it didn't I don't believe. To add to this no staff came to do a meal check on our table.I sat with my plate of food uneaten feeling very hungry all night. Upon leaving mentioned it to the staff member settling the Bill who wasn't overly bothered. Wouldn't recommend.
Ribs are always sooo good here! The rewana bread that came with the wha a spin of the Vietnamese dish was yummmm was too full to have the dumplings probably always best to have the dumplings while they're hot!
For years i had heard of Woodside and been past there but never went. It looks so small and secluded from the outside but as soon as you walk in to the joint, you couldn't be more wrong. The open space and the atmosphere is more than welcoming and quite a stunner that im contemplating holding my brothers 21st there in 2 years. The kai is scrumptious and the drinks are both sweet and delicious. I recommend the meat lovers pizza for a snack between friends with some kumara fries. Me and our friends definitely enjoyed our time there and the servers were so accommodating. Also if you want to try your luck at slots, they have a cute little room near the entrance.
Such a great place for the family to dine. The staff are so helpful and friendly, the food is yummy with good portions and the atmosphere is awesome. Thoroughly enjoyed myself and will definitely return soon. Parking: Heaps of parking whi h adds to the fabulous experience of the place.
Staff and attentiveness - 10/10 Food 10/10 Everything about this place is so much better I last visited a year ago or longer, I am so glad I went back. I had the fajitas - yum, my table had steak, chowder and a few sides. I wish I had taken photos but we were enjoying our food, the vibe, the music, we forgot. It was so great. I love how its bookings only and it didn't get crazy busy. I will be back. So impressed with Woodside, and the staff. There's a more professional feel about the place. And the staff are friendly and professional. Did I mention how good the food was. There was a function upstairs and outside and in no way did it inhibit service or took away from our table of four after work on a Friday night. So impressed. Thank you for a great night.
