Wolfs Gym is owned by Michael van Wijk, A.K.A the Gladiator "Wolf" from the very successful show aired in Britain from 1992 to 2000. Wolf had successfully opened four gyms in London before emigrating to NZ in 2005 with his family to enjoy the wonderful, relaxing life here in Auckland. Wolf opened his second gym in New Zealand on Ellice Road, Wairau Valley in October 2013 following the opening of his NZ branch in Henderson back in 2010. Wolfs Gym is expanding rapidly with Personal Trainers, a Physio and Massage Therapist all joining the team. Our friendly staff are always ready to offer advice on either diet or training and if you are lucky, you can catch the Wolf himself.
