Northern Rocks is a locally owned company focused on developing the climbing community in New Zealand. We are delighted to offer the products of world leaders in chalk manufacturing Friction Labs Chalk to New Zealand. Best indoor climbing venue in the Nth Island. Friendly staff & vibe have created a real community. Light & bright. Clean. Superb extra classes yoga / weights / technique etc. Outdoor trips organised. Good caffeine. Gear Shop. Apart from a solid workout it's great fun. Just go there!

Great deal for your first entry you get a whole week. The climbs were fun but challenging for a novice like myself. The staff are friendly and thorough in the health and safety orientation. Seems like a very well managed gym.

First time visiting, today. I received a very friendly welcome and a great introduction/briefing to bouldering. I am looking forward to learning the sport!

My son loved the setup and the atmosphere. People are friendly and we look forward to going there again!!

After first coming here with my school I've became addicted to climbing here I come once every 2 or so weeks. It has a great community about it. There are a lot of levels to choose from I'm currently on the 3rd.

Its super fun not to expensive and the staff is super friendly had a nice cafe and is really cool

Both kids loved it. Now both are asking for membership.
