Wildflower does wedding flowers in many gorgeous styles - at the moment we're loving the vintage look!

Story

For the last couple of wedding seasons Brides have been asking for a vintage-style look...a look I love !

What could be more beautiful than "hand-picked" posies for the Bridal party... and, on the tables, loose stems in jam jars and bottles, or clusters of rustic garden bunches in mismatched antique crystal vases, tins and teacups ?

Vintage style can evoke a feeling of timeless elegance, or create a relaxed garden-party vibe. It also works well for Brides who want to include some home-made touches to make their wedding experience a very individual one. And, as we all know, weddings can be very expensive so spending some time yourself on these personal touches can make you some savings- as well as being fun !

Some brides have asked me to supply cut flowers and , supplementing these with blooms from neighbours gardens, have arranged them simply on the tables themselves. Others have made table signs from old vinyl 45's; place names form hand-stamped brown paper luggage labels; home-made favours of miniature preserves or herbs planted in terracotta pots; and decorated the venue with strings of bunting sewn from retro material and photos of friends and family in old wooden frames...
