I would like to share my disappointing experience with this store so other customers can be careful.nnRecently, I bought chocolates, chips, biscuits and cereal to take overseas as gifts for my family and friends. Unfortunately, I didn’t check the dates when purchasing them—that was my mistake. Later, I noticed that **all of these items were already almost 2 months past their Best Before dates**. ‍nnI also bought cereal for my cousins’ young children, and I definitely wouldn’t feel comfortable giving them food that is already two months past its Best Before date.nnI went back to the store today and asked for a refund. The supervisor told me, “We don’t sell expired items,” and said that a Best Before date is different from an Expiry date. I understand the difference, but I still find it very disappointing that products this far past their Best Before dates are being sold.nnThey refunded the items except for one opened Oreo packet, which was fine, I’m not going to argue over $2. However, they also deducted the GST amount from my refund, which I found disappointing.nnThis was a very unexpected experience for me. I’m sharing this simply to warn other customers: **if you shop here, please check the Best Before dates carefully before purchasing. nI hope you’re more careful than I was!

Dry and frozen goods, with some high quality fresh cuts of beef. Often good deals on proteins cheeses, pork, chicken, lamb and quality beef - the beef being frozen and fresh cuts. Frequently much cheaper than any supermarket, short-dated items or frozen items that have never been thawed but just out of date. Clever shopping will see you manage your budget and survive lean times. Only downside is it's out of the way and hard to get to. So shop big.

Bought some stuff from here. It sells cheap food and snacks. Many items are close to the “best before” date or expired, but still good to eat. The shop is busy and a bit messy, but you can save money with good deals.

Really cheap products but you have to be careful in buying. Some of them already expired. Mostly the giveaway stuff they give out to customers. But good products
