Whitianga Ferries Ltd

My husband and I took our friends from Lighthouse Community Church at Auckland to our local Whitianga Ferry Pier. We all enjoyed the views there and took a lot of photos. We highly recommend you to take the ferry to Cooks Beach as it is the fastest way to go there from Whitianga.

Love these little places that have Ferrys . Instead of driving from Hot Water Beach to Whitianga, we drove to Ferry Landing, Cooks Beach, and caught the Ferry across to Whitianga. Excellent service!

Took one of the first three hour cruises to the Cathedral Cove on their new catamaran and really enjoyed it! The boat is fantastic and heaves just slightly even at open sea. Very nice and friendly crew provided commentary and snorkelling gear for snapper spotting in the marine reserve. All in all good fun, would recommend to families as well as it’s safe.

Super iconic to Whitianga. Catch the ferry from Whitianga Wharf to Ferry Landing where you can explore "the other side". This includes Shakespeare Cliff, Whitianga Rock and Flaxmill Bay. The cost isn't much but neither is the trip across. This has been running well before 1983 when I first arrived in Whitianga to live with my parents.

Price compared to the drive around makes this a great option. Ferry captain is very personable and makes sure you know the schedule. Makes visiting Whitianga really easy.

Super convenient. Great for taking bikes across and exploring Shakespeare point and Cook's beach.

Was very efficent but I had thought it was vehicle one my mistake.

Not even the harbour could catch us. Best way to get to Flaxmill from Whitianga.

Friendly staff, fast and interestig traffic, not to expansiv, nice trip from Cooks beach to Whitianga for example.
