Whitestone Cheese Diner & Deli

Awesome meal here with fast, friendly service and interesting meals. Not your standard menu and each menu item has cheese accents. I had the halloumi cous cous salad which was delicious. Would highly recommend if you are passing through.

Lovely atmosphere and cute interior. The cheesecake is rich and the coffee is delicious. Definitely worth a visit if you’re going to Oamaru!

Lived the cheese roll and the salad with fennel root and oranges! The charcuterie was a fun experience but I personally thought the cheese on it wasn’t super unique. Although their blue cheese was great as was the Monte cristo. Strawberries on the board were very tasty!

Great idea to move the Whitestone Cheese shop out of the factory and into this converted Art Deco motel. The diner is an even better idea, with its delicious cheese-themed dishes in hearty portions slight downside is that it’s hard to sample many things in a single visit! Highly recommended for a drop in bite on the road, or worth planning a visit if you’re staying in town
