Had been to Induan and Nepalese Kitchen-omaru couple of days back and had a good taste food i had ordered hot and sour soup,Noodles and manchurian dry.nAll the dishes had great taste and the experience was so good.nAlso good friendly staff who runs bussiness from many years.nMust visit for authentic taste and good service.
It is one of the best places for typical nepali taste. Hats off to you for serving many Nepali food options to its best eventhough located in a small town. Highly recommended
We just have a wonderful dinner. Their cook Nepal dumplings really yummy which is as same as I ate in Nepal. I can see they are well balance taste the tradition Nepal or India food in New Zealand.nWe have ask a container for take away because it was so delicious and we don't want to waste any food. The waiter's service are very good, polite and friendly. He was willing to introduce their cook and every dishes is Yummy and well balance in taste. Usually, we don't like India food because it is too salty. However, this restaurant food was really good with nice presentation.nHighly recommend for those who drive pass this town.
Ordered 2 lunch special deals which was served with curry of our choice, rice, naan and a can of soft drink fanta or sprite. We chose lamb sagwala and lamb dhansak curries, which were good. The Nepalese style lamb biryani was awesome, and my 3 kids love it. Naan and Popadums were tasty too.nnThe staff was very friendly and polite too. The servings didn't look a lot but they made us really full! Value for money, especially the lunch deals! Will definitely visit again if I'm in the area.
Disappointing unfortunately. The place / ambience is nice. V were the only ones. Party of 10. So that was a plus. But service was a little slow as I think it’s a family run business. But that’s ok.nnAdvertised as Nepali but most dishes r from south India!! So I guess they r just using the name but food is really South..nnThe food price is as New Zealand all over 16- 20$ on avg for a dish. The taste is just ok. Felt more like food being made from sauces / paste, rather than fresh ingredients.nnV had prawn malabari paste sauce coconut was quite over powering and could not feel tamarind or spices, even though v said moderately hot. 21$nnLamb sekuwa ws spicy, slightly over done but quantity was was very small for 16$.nnDal makhni should b avoided. Taste ws not great at all. It ws all ghee. 18$nnChicken biryani is probably a dish only North Indians known how to cook n most Indians in nz r from south. 19.5$nnPlain naan for some reason has oil rubbed over it. The waiter didn’t have an idea of plain naan. And so was the the roti... small servings and partially burnt 3$/eachnnMomos were ok. But I did wonder if they were hand made or just out of the packet!! 14$nnBhuteko chicken is fried rice with chicken and not worth it either. 14.5$nnLastly advertised halal but I wonder... the guy didn’t know brands of halal.nnThis might seem like a very harsh review but I feel if one is charging top price for food then they should also know what they r serving. One of the major problems in nz due to get it done attitude.. or in migrant terms chalta hai..nnFrom a Nz perspective food is good taste as most nzers don’t have a feel for subcontinent taste. So u may actually enjoy it...
