KFC Oamaru

on friday night 15/3/24 we stopped in at kfc to get food as the mcdonald’s had closed due to technical difficulties.nwe waited over 20 minutes before our order was taken. this was the least of our issues during this visit. the manager on shift did NOT take initiative to call her management to be open longer to compensate for the abundance of customers even if they just stayed open on drive thru. She was extremely rude to customers AND staff, throwing a tantrum about wanting to go home.nShe was not efficiently using her staff to get home either even if she thought she was making them clean instead of serving people in the line, leaving customers waiting ages before they were even served at the till. she was yelling at her staff infront of customers, making them seem incompetent. very well done to the FOH for holding their tongues.nas a manager myself i find it extremely inappropriate to see her behaving like a child and throwing a fit and the way she was speaking to customers and staff was immature. kfc Oamaru already has a terrible rep without having to add this on top.

Visited this KFC branch on our way to Moeraki.nnWe ordered the 6 piece meal with fries, mashed potato, and a medium coleslaw as we wanted to see how it fair with Singapore's version.nnMy mum finds the chicken better than our version, but my wife finds that our version of coleslaw was better.nnStore was conveniently located along the main road with parking provided.

I used the drive through and despite the queue of cars service was surprisingly quick accurate and the server very pleasant. The food was good too.

We got 2 under cooked pieces of chicken took them up to the counter they reluctantly replaced with 2 other pieces wish were greasy under cooked wish I didn't eat either took 8 servettes to get our hand clean then washed our hands before leaving.won't never go back there ever again
