The Last Post, Restaurant, Bar & Catering Service

Beautiful Meal at the Last Post! My Husband and I had a night away before baby arrives and both had delicious huge meals. I had small seafood chowder which was perfect and full of seafood with a nice crunchy garlic bread then the Ribeye Steak, chips & salad all cooked perfectly. Hubby had the x3 Lamb Loins and said it was very nice. No room for dessert but we will be back.nNice young waiter, nothing was a bother.

Perfect.beginning to the weekend and end of the work week. Service was impeccable, staff very well presented and mannered, also very attentive, quick and efficient.nnI arrived late to order with my colleagues, however my food arrived fairly quickly. From what I understand my friends were waiting a little while for their food, however the place was packed therefore busy and the quality of the food made up for the wait.nnWe were situated out the back and the atmosphere was perfect for us to talk openly and have a laugh. I highly recommend the Last Post.

We stopped here for lunch on our way from Christchurch to Dunedin. Their food were amazing. They list all the allergens on their menu and there're lots of gluten free options as well.nFriendly staff, but food was a bit slow since we went on a Sunday and the place was packed.

Enjoyed a very good meal. Would particularly like to highlight the vegetables, which were plentiful and perfectly cooked. So many other restaurants treat them as a skimpy afterthought. nice atmosphere and good service. Would happily go back.

This chicken is very juicy, not dry at all.nDelicious!
