White + Wong’s

Great atmosphere, right on top of rooftop. We ordered one of the banquets, food came out at a steady pace, we loved all the dishes, got pretty full by mains, but still manged the dessert. Cocktails a bit of a let down, all served in martini glasses and not much for price. Flavors average. All in all will be back to try some of the other dishes. Staff were great !

It's my first experience at this restaurant. So this only applies to one of the two outdoor tables that are totally exposed to the sun without any covering. I've booked a table of 5 but was given to a table which was mentioned above. I can understand because the manager explained they were not allowed to serve beyond that section where there were full of empty tables in the shade. 20 minutes went by, and food came. Customers from other tables have left already. We were not asked to move, yet we had to go up to the staff to complain about after 40 minutes later. I guess we were really unlucky to be there at the wrong time. Totally understand their inability to do something about it. Food wise, I'm not sure if I would go back there to eat what most restaurants could make better at cheaper prices again. No that I have high standards of taste, but I suppose the table reserved for us really spoilt everything that day. Tips: If you happen to make a lunch reservation, don't forget to mention to avoid those 2 tables unless you're there for sunbathing.

We love the presentation, taste and size of the food. We all enjoyed our order including the drinks. Spacious area, not too crowded and they got separate area for bar. Customer service is great. Food was served on time. Manager as well was accomodating. Parking: Westfield Newmarket offers 2 hrs free parking. Heaps of parking available during afterhours.

First of all, they offered us a good service, and waitress and the manager were very friendly and greeted us at the entrance. Food was nicely presented, some of the dishes were too salty but mostly they were delicious. Oh!! My favourite dish was roasted port cube!! I highly recommend to try this plate. Overall we had a pleasant experience for a lunch here at White + Wongs.

Food was amazing. Atmosphere was great and the trees surrounding the restaurant blocked the views of the street below which made it feel quite private and cozy. The food was presented well and tasted great. Overall 5 stars and the waiters/waitresses were lovely.

Celebrated my birthday with family for lunch. Came in before peak time and it was peaceful and quiet. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend the pecking duck and the Shanghai Mocktail as a treat. The mango sago dessert was refreshing and delicious would definitely order it again!Food: 4/5

Lunch mid week. Plenty of people there enjoying the day but still plenty of space to fit us in with a young baby in a stroller. They found us somewhere a bit out of the way which was good. I had a hot and spicy soup and my guest had the bao buns. Both dishes well executed, in good time and hot. Service was very pleasant and helpful. A good meal if a little pricey.

We choosed White + Wong to celebrate my birthday. Had a wonderful night. We were lucky yo have this girl forget to take her name she was taking care of us and making the experience better. The food is never disappointing just love coming to white + Wong

Probably the best vegan curry I have had. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients in the tofu curry. The pickles were a nice touch and added a satisfying crunchy texture to the creamy curry. Didn’t feel overly rich but the serving was quite substantial. The curry didn’t come with its own rice so you will have to order the rice in addition. Vegan options were not labelled in the menu though vegetarian options were labelled. Please note that the drunken noodles is flavoured with Oyster sauce so it is NOT actually vegetarian so the restaurant should change this. Staff were great and venue was awesome.

Very disappointed with the level of professionalism I have experienced from service staff. Made a reservation and requested a quiet table but was seated at the round table located at the end of the hallway that is surrounded by big groups. Chopsticks and plates were covered with dust found small dead insects as well and when I requested to replace my crockery, I received a foul look from Senior staff either Host or Manager and no apologies. At least the food was good but I cannot understand how this place maintained 1 Hat.
