Tombo Buffet

Great place and extremely affordable. It is BYO if you choose and one bill per table no splitting. The staff are so attentive, often changing the baking paper on the grill and clearing empty plates. Definitely will be returning, great atmosphere and way to share the cooking.

We had a very good experience here. The food, the options and the price were all very good. To have both Korean BBQ and hot soup in the same place means everyone is guaranteed to have a good meal. The staff are rushed off their feet but still helpful and polite. Will come back here again for sure. BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL!

Everything here is neat and clean. attentive service staff, they often change the baking paper even though we don't ask for it. The restaurant has both grill and hot pot. They have the comfortable seats with convenient grill design. The hot pot doesn't have many options. Various grilled meats, vegetables served with grilled meat are good. The aisle at the food stall is quite narrow, just for one person. Meal times are limited to less than two hours, so everyone pays attention about that. It's crowded all time, so it's best to book a table in advance. Otherwise you have to wait a long time outside.

Nice marinated meat. I also like the salads and sauces. The Kimchi was a little bit old over sour. Staff were very very nice and attentive. Reasonable price. The only thing that made me feel not comfortable was about the 2 hours maximum for a staying. It was quite a pressure to me, since I’m a slow eater. I really enjoyed the food but not 100% because the clock was ticking . Apart from that, overall is good and I still recommend with a 4.8 . Thank you very much!

Sorry I took the whole plate coz I love shrimps. The stewed beef is actually really nice but it seems people can’t be bothered removing the bones on it. It’s $37 for dinner on a Sunday night, where else can you get it at a similar price in Auckland? It’s Korean BBQ buffet in new market, have to find a parking. But I would recommend this restaurant in general.

The most amazing dinner experience we have had. The service was incredible from the minute we walked through the door, even though it’s a buffet they check up you to see if you okay. The food was amazing, you get to cook your meat at your table and there is also ready made food. The sushi is also delicious. Highly recommend and definitely value for money.

This restaurant was small and it was always busy. Group booking is a must. Food was good. Price $40/ person for dinner which includes bbq & small hot pot. Staff was helpful. There is not much space for free parking around this location.Food: 4/5

Had a lovely dinner here with friends. The bbq, hot pot, sushi and dessert were all nice. The paper on bbq was changed often, water was easily available and plates were cleared away often. Staff were very friendly. I would recommend this restaurant.

Was ok. Meat selection is fine and service is good frequent paper change without need to request. Also like the dividers between booths giving a sense of seclusion. Sensible COVID rules as well eg 1 person per table getting up at a time. The let down is the quality of ready made buffet items. Eg tasteless samosas, gyozas taste stale no crisp at all, hot pot vege selection is pretty limited no mushrooms at all etc. Sushi average/stale depending on type. Ice cream difficult to tell flavor due to lack of label. 2 hours time limit is plenty of time to eat a meal. Was ok.

First time there with my family! I absolutely enjoyed it! The service was wonderful, atmosphere was delightful and food was delicious the only thing I would say, the place needs to be little bigger and then it'll be excellent but thank you so much for the lovely experience Food: 5/5
